Strategy game tips....
0
Hey ho everyone,
I finally managed to free up more time for myself by getting most of my stuff done that came from moving, so now I find myself in the odd position that I need a few tips for strategy games for PC again, as I am a bit bored with the ones that I have at the moment. Here are a few of the ones installed on my machine:
C&C 3 + Expansion
Sins of a Solar Empire
Rome Total War
Medieval II
Universe at War: Earth Assault
Civilization III + IV
Imperial Glory
... anyone else knows some "up to date" strategy games that are worth checking out? Of course I got classic ones flying around aswell somewhere in my board like the rest of the C&C series, some other Sci Fi strategy games etc.

Well the warhammer 40k dawn of war platinum pack with the core game and the three expansions are amazing.
Civilization Revolution is just astounding.

Will you be adding Red Alert 3 and Demigod to your list when it comes out? Most likely I will. I am really looking forward to Demigod. As for Civilization Revolution, I found the Civilization IV series to be annoyingly boring compared to Civi III. However I might try Warhammer 40k. Gonna watch a few trailers if it is anything for nerdy me :)

I didn't like how much more complicated the 4th one was, the reason why Master of Orion 3 failed...

Warhammer 40k:DoW is possibly the best strategy game of the last few years. To date it has 9 unique armies. Which is more than 95% of strategy games out there have.

If anyone else is in the Red alert 3 beta have you gotten it working past the log in screen cuz it dies there for me and its not just me either the forums say that 60% of the people in the beta cant get in and whats even better is that ea doesn't care. Great thanks what the hell happened to westwood quality Fuck EA.

I don't think Master of Orion 3 failed only because of complication issues. There were an asston of problems with it. This constantly makes me sad because I look at the MOO2 icon on my desktop and go "I wish they make another one of these....oh right they did...and they fucked it up...damnit!"
