You know the deal. It is one of the new MOBAs. Currently it is in open beta and you're able to play with all of the available champions. The gimmick in this game is that it is more approachable than other games. It takes the couriers from DOTA and makes them invincible. It has recall from LoL that takes you back to base. When your champion is out of battle for a few seconds, he starts to regain health and mana at a faster rate until it is hit or hits something. It also has pets which act like summoner spells from LoL.
TotalBiscuit's thoughts on Strife
I've played a few games of it so far and I find it really enjoyable. Although I don't know the items or the champion skills, it is easy to get a grasp on it because of my prior experience with League of legends.

It looks kind of cool. I'd probably give it a shot. But if it's as TotalBiscuit says and the skills are kind of bland, I might get bored. Interesting abilities that feel awesome are half of the fun IMO.

If you're going to play once with every champion you might do so in a day or two. But the fun of the game (to me at least) is to try and see how well you could do with one or another. For instance I've had two games where we had a teammate who didn't connect to the game. To my surprise, both of those times we pulled off a win. Here's the scoreboard from one of those matches.
Spoiler:
I went on a rampage killing the enemy team 39 times. The game will stay fun as long as you don't play it to the ground during your first day.
