some scenes, asagi's arm and legs get melted off and murasaki's body literally becomes a square box(some heavy body distortion going on).

Actually saw the picture where Murasaki is a box, yep, too weird. The Murasaki game had the villain taking out Murasaki's arms along with the blood, only to get them back through energy too, so Asagi's limbs getting melted is sort of "similar" but still weird.
Still waiting if people got more weird things to report, as if that tentacle/cocoon thing wasn't enough to begin with.
