They updated the site with the Opening sequence and screen shots.
I would likt to post the video, but nothing youtube yet, and I can only get the LQ version since I don't have a premium membership anymore in Nico Douga. the LQ version is just ugly.
Found it.
6 more characters introduced btw.
Lol, one of the new characters is voice by Ono Daisuke.

Oh, PS3 only?
Is this a totally new story in the same universe? I'm a tad confused why it's named "Tears to Tiara 2", when the cover doesn't have any returning characters. As an aside, same thing with "Tales of Xillia 2" and the FF series.

As an aside, same thing with "Tales of Xillia 2" and the FF series. Not really strange and confusing coming from Leaf/Aquaplus. All of their "numbered sequels" are actually "Stand Alone Sequels". They share the same timeline but almost never involves previous characters, but it is certain that these "sequels" happens in a much later time after the previous.
To Heart 1 -> To Heart 2 : Same school, town and timeline (2 years later) with different characters.
White Album 1 -> White Album 2 : Same theme and within the same timeline just years later with different characters
This is also going to happen with how Utawarerumono 2 is going to be developed.

What!!! Utawarerumono without the utawarerumono? Or it will spoil that there will be another utawarerumono? Hm, I hope utawarerumono will have branch story. Won`t get this one though, cause I haven`t finished the first series (played it but not interested).

So Kaimax? What was your impression of the game?I ahven't bought it yet, I planned to buy the Physical Limited Edition, but importing it right now, is just TAX hell.
So I'm planning to be it Digitally, the one who has bought it is FreeOtakuGhost, my friend who's living there, and usually does the buying for me.

Well getting it digitally is usually the easiest and fastest way (for PC games, I'm honestly not sure about consoles). Considering my... nest of a place I wouldn't have wanted a physical copy of the game anyway.
Not that I even have a PS3, or a monitor to begin with. One laptop, one life.
... I knew it was a bad idea staying at the twelve-th floor of an apartment...

I'll probably get that one, when I have a bit more money.

well, given that i've played the game for awhile,i can give some of the thoughts of the plot.
it's happened 7 years after the King of Hispania got Executed by the Holy Empire.
the Canan people were living under the Holy Empire's tyranny and forced to be their slaves and in the process, they have to tear down their Goddess's temple to symbolize the empire's power.
Hamiru who's the the prince of the late king is also fell into slavery among his people.he's actually quite keen but he tends to act stupid in his surroundings.
one day when he's going back home after got beaten by the soldiers,he found a strange young girl named Taruto got her left foot stuck under a tree's branch where it's growing near the Goddess's Shrine.
she says she's the Goddess of the Canan people to Hamiru and from there on,their journey got started.
i haven't finished it yet let alone the 1st Chapter since it gets quite long and only did 3 battles so far but the Chapter's title was "The Return of The Overlord". and before their encounter,Hamiru did changed into the Overlord for 1 battle.he's probably born with the Overlord's blood/soul/within him.lol.
the OP is pretty awesome too.
i apologize if it's not much of a proper review.
let alone a review at least.lol.

I think it's better if this thread was moved to Videogames. Game is coming out this month!

I've been playing this and if you liked the first tears to tiara, you'll definitely like the second xD Its more of an VN than an RPG so far.
However, battles is more easier than the first tears to tiara.
But I've just begun and is up to like chapter 5, so I can't really say anything yet.
Izebel is pretty hot though.

Been craving a solid tactical rpg and from what I've played so far I like it. I didn't read the opening post before playing so I was surprised to hear Rie in my game. I also can't say I'm a fan of Kirito's voice in this one.
