Just finished the game a couple of hours ago (took 312 turns). I was wondering if there are New Game Bonuses or some carry overs from the previous playthrough. From what I've seen so far from beating it, you get two options when you start a new game. The first option allows you to whether or not you want to start with all the items you collected in your previous play through. The second option is to go into hard mode.

Very disappointing news. The translation project has been dropped:
"KannaRei: on 16.05 I received a dmca mail from tenco making me stop translating and the team abandoning the project. None of us intend to go against tenco's wishes with this so we will not take it up again unless tenco themselves give us an ok. If you really want/need it in english either find someone else who does not care about dmca and such or use atlas or whatnot."

which is why translators working in VNs should be more discrete...I'm still waiting for my Yosuga no Sora for the same reason

anyone got tips on how to get this game working with AGTH/ITH/AG or something of that kind? This is the first game ever that gave me problems with translations, for some reason it only hocks the initiation text before the actual game thats that is written in the cmd module.

So what i actually need is a way for the tools to capture the actual game instead of the background.

I have always wondered why companies dont want people translating their games. Is it because they plan on translating it in the future, or are they just saying down with america. While they may argue they are losing sales on the game, can you name one person who would buy a game in a different language if they couldnt understand it.Or is it something along the lines of they fear it wont be a good translation.
Guess it just makes me mad a bit.

That and the fact in Japan, games cost the equivalent of 90 USD or more. Importing games would be a hell lot cheaper and better due to the uncensored part.

Near end game there's that damn Angol-something whatever, he cuts your income by 50%. Anyone got a strategy in kicking this guys ass? I really appreciate it if someone can help.

One of the "kodai eiyuu" that looks like a clown can summon balls and the balls can use super charge. but well summoning the ball itself can be a problem.
if not, I believe that one of the characters from rance series has that skill. I don't know if that skill is already available when you fight angolmoa. there must be one or two character that can do that by that point, if you do the character side quests.
now after that just bring gilagamesh and use her skill over and over. her special skill practically cancel enemy's attack. if you use super charge over and over, practically almost every turn you can use special attacks.
you can also bring one of the england knights that uses spear/javelin (forget her name). her special is also quite strong.
but well, most importantly, bring your best party and equip them with things that cut delay and wait time. especially those with crazy super charges.
don't forget to bring healer. they'll help you. but. if you prefer all out attack, that's ok too. though, it's a little tough.
You need some luck too in this battle. since this is the first time an annoying enemy like this appears. last boss is more annoying though. that I survive part luck. The clown is one of your best bet in that battle (because she can summon as much as she wants (I think) as long as you have gauge and each balls can do super charge).

vndb says this shares characters with Sengoku Rance?Only one though. It's just a cameo appearance. nothing super important. though the character is strong and useful.

Thanks UnknownX, I've been using Achilles Chiron step with the +damage equipment, 1500 damage x 15. But so much HP this guy has!! It was doing the job but all those damn minions were the problem. Trying your strategy now, thanks!
Oh yeah, I haven't gotten Kenshin, the Sengoku Rance character, yet. I'm guessing I still have to finish some of the character clears if I read the wiki right. The google translation of the Japanese wiki is hard to decipher sometimes...

Here's that machine translation of the Japanese wiki I've been cheating off of time to time. Under Capture - note cheat is the guide that... suppose to help with the walkthrough of the game. Under data is obviously is the charater list and tells you join conditions and comments. Also here's an english wiki that someone made, much kudos for the effort the person made to mirror the Japanese wiki.

Personally I use this one to check the type advantage in battle and the Item bonus you get while playing the game. Most of the character description are blank, but they got the entire roster listed out at least.
Later:
I kicked Angolmoa's annoying little ass! Gilgamesh was a godsend in that battle with Achilles! Thanks again UnknownX for that tip. It was surprisingly easy actually... Well, if there's anyone interested, I'll post the strategy I used later. Thanks again!

Glad you got past that point. I remember being frustrated and tried different things myself in order to beat angolmoa. Once I beat it, I feel the same way you do... it's not supposed to be that hard... hahahaha
Now you just need to complete the game.
Btw, The next/sequel game, eiyuu senki gold is in the making. XD

What?! A Sequel?! *Faints*
Strategy against Angolmoa:
1 Achilles (dmg +1000 , dmg +500)
2 Marco Polo (Delay -15, Turn Brave +3)
3 Gilgamesh (Funds Bonus, Atk +3, Atk +2)
4 Beethoven (Agi +3, 1 turn Full Brave Orb)
5 Himiko (Turn Brave +2, Dmg Taken -1000)
6 Jiang Ziya (Wait -30, Wait -20)
Positions-
6,4,2
5,3,1
0,0,0
(FYI, Bottom row blank)
As soon as you can, move the entire army forward twice so Angolmoa is in the front row. Achilles keeps doing normal attacks and use Chiron Step as the main damage dealer and Turbo Kick if any minions spawn in her range. Marco Polo inflicts poison on Angolmoa to help drain him faster and attack. Gilgamesh will take care of any minions Angolmoa spawns with her ultimate specials, but Achilles can also help with Chiron Step or Turbo Kick. Otherwise standby Gilgamesh so her turn comes around quicker to take out any minions.
Generally I kill the minions ASAP as I don't want them hurting my units. Beethoven's attack helps delay the enemies turn with her normal attack, use her other abilities if you feel like. Himiko is the healer, but she can also attack to help gather up braves, and can also heal Gilgamesh more with her passive ability. Jiang Ziya is a godsend with her supercharge. But if you use her "Seal of God", she will summon a 7th unit onto the field that can also do supercharge as well!
So to summarize, Keep charging those brave orbs, and kick the shit out of him with those ultimate attacks! Plus with that funds bonus Gilgamesh equipped, you got an extra 210,000 gold out of that fight, sweet!
Much Later:
Okay! I beat the game! YEAH! I love you Achilles and your game breaking ultimate! Anyways, just one last question before I go grinding some more because of my completionist curse... What does the two options for the new game plus mean? I know one is to keep all the items you acquired but can't figure out the other.

Might be the reason the fan translation group was asked to stop who knows how long ago. As a nerd who has failed several times to learn Japanese I'm happy to have a way to play this game... As a pervert I am sorry to see the sex scenes go.
