Heres' some discussion for FF fans; which summon is most badass? [I already know a majority of you are going to answer KOTR, and for good reason I suppose]. This should include the summons from 1-10, and no others. Of course, I don't think summons are in the first two, but yeah. My vote, of course, goes to Alexander of FFIX. My second would be Phoenix from IX. Any oppinions, my fellow FF freaks?

For me my favorite summon from FFX is Anima his Oblivion was epic when his binds break he goes Muhammad Ali on your ass.

Uses my favorite element and is in my top 5 summons she can send a chill down my spine anytime.

Alexander. Doesn't matter which game, he's always full of win and awesome.
My second favourite would be Eden from VIII. Just don't use him under time pressure, he's like, ass long summon. (Regarding waste of time still no match for IX Ark, though.)
Doomtrain is alright, too. One of the more... useful summons with all his nasty debuffs.

Shiva's great, Alexander's great... In fact, I really like all the classic ones like Shiva and Ifrit. I guess, to me, Shiva is the sexiest one whereas Diablos is the coolest looking one.
That said, I think Bahamut is the summon that's usually used so well. Even when it's not him in person, his name alone can be used in a really dramatic way like (highlight for FFXII spoiler)at the end of FFXII when everyone looks to the sky and then we hear that "Bahamut has been summoned".(end spoiler)

Nacho, you are the absolute bomb for loading that clip of me protecting Alexandria, Though I must say, my feathers are still multing from that incident with The Invincible. If you keep faith in me like that, I might just protect your castle someday. [Tornado's are a bitch, but not for me]

the other GF that I like is Eden... +equip with turbo controller for boost!!! :D

Hmm... gonna have to go with not only my first Final Fantasy but my first RPG to answer this, Final Fantasy IV.
1st - Bahamut. Pure damage, non-elemental, and just too awesome to not love.
2nd - Leviathan. Also non-elemental in FFIV if I remember correctly, and until you get Bahamut at least, he's got the highest damage output.
3rd - Chocobo! It's a chocobo you can summon.
Although for the GBA remake Sylph wasn't bad either, haven't tried the DS version yet even though I just got it.
