The "Last Game You Beat" Thread

I 100%'d Majora's Mask for the 6th time. For some reason, I always find myself coming back to that game. For an old Nintendo title, it's surprisingly dark.

I just finished a free-to-play indie title called Iji.

It's a 2D Metroid-esque action platformer about a girl named Iji who has to save the planet from an alien invasion (again, very Metroid). It explores themes of genocide, the value of life, and the heavy price of war. It has really solid writing and music, and while I finished it in 5 hours, it has a lot more replay value than a lot of $10-15 indie games I've played. There's different difficulty levels, secret areas, and pacifist runs, if you're interested.

I would highly recommend anyone here to at least try it out, considering it's free and should run on any PC.

Fallout New Vegas. Sigh I love this game so much but I have it on PS3. The lags....the LAGS!!! What the hell Bethseda!

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate. It's an RPG Maker VX game. Some parts are a bit difficult, some of the sidequests require getting certain materials which takes an eternity, but the story and funny moments are good. It took me a while to record most of the playthrough, though.

Dawn of War 2

I did clear it previously but I did a half-assed job, redid it capping all characters to maximum level and getting some good wargear.

Oracle of Seasons (linked game). GBC was the shit, man.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited, had lots of fun, I'm just grinding my characters now lol.

Well one part anyway, there's three more Branches. Got it for $20 and I was surprised at how much I was enjoying it.

Transistor

Easily a 9/10 for me, and one of, if not the best game from 2014 that I've played. It slightly loses a point for some insane difficulty spikes (even if most are in optional areas).

The last game I beat was double dragon neon and now going for Tales of Symphonia Hd

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. Got 100% on it.

Metroid Prime, it was pretty cool.

Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel Route 8.5/10

Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen (again)

One of the Best Action RPGs I've ever played (and probably will continue to play) purely because of the excellent combat system.

Recently got my first platinum trophy and in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle too

I would've done that too... if I could read Japanese and know what to do. I bought the import long before the English version was announced, which is actually pretty cheap compared to both new releases and Japanese imports.

Anyway, last game I beat was Life Is Strange Episode 2. Technically not the whole game as of yet, but I'd treat each episode as such.

P3P, playing it again to get all the s.links, personas, and side quests. Kinda mad I have to buy FES to play "The Answer". I might just watch a youtube video of someone else playing.

English version(beyond the name changes) is actually a lot easier than I thought it would be.

Between all of the time i spent gaming my life away (seriously my only accomplishments in life) and working for a 400 game total (out of which i beat about 380), my last was Dragon Age Inquisition...5th time... in a week. Yeah i have no life...
