The Last Remnant

anyone tried it yet? it's quite good, aside from some minor bugs it seems quite close to the Final Fantasy franchise. Good storyline, Graphics are quite good... overall i would rate it as one of the better turn based rpg's.

I started playing it over spring break, but have forgotten where I am now. I'm not that far as the story is basically trying to find your kidnapped sister still.

trust me, keep going.

Not a bad game. It definitely has appeal in terms of flashy animations. Watching the battle scenes never gets old.

I just checked out a video of this on youtube, and I have to say I'm quite impressed. Although once again Square/Enix has spent way too much time on making it look pretty, they did add some interesting functionality to the turn-based system. The intricate use of leaders and sub-units with which you are able to engage and surround your targets is interesting, and the fact that some attacks require trigger pulls, ala FF8 or Legend of Dragoon, keeps you awake during the action. Now, if my computer here didn't get a little laggy whenever I clicked a little too fast during minesweeper, I would totally get this. Time to save up for one of those new gen consoles...just not sure which one yet.

Waiting for the PS3.....
Is it great? I think when it comes out.....more great game will be out too... and I have to choose....Sigh....
