The third Yugioh tournament on Fakku (signups)

Have you gotten any word on the players of brackets b and d?
btw: Is it only suppose to be A - D playing round one like you mentioned earlier?

Yes, bracket A through D are the only ones that're suppose to be playing the first round (since there's 20 players instead of 24). I know Mibu and Chris already played their match, when they were supposed to wait till round 2. But Asa already recorded it. But players in bracket E through L will begin playing on monday, which is round 2.

And due to things starting off abit slow for round 1. I'm allowing an extension for round 1 to last until monday, ending at midnight. But after that, there will be no more extra extensions. Each round will still be set to a 2 day deadline.

So round 2 will begin on monday, and it will be over by the beginning of wednesday.

So I just move on to braket E? If so I didnt think this would happen to me just my luck and I mean that in a good way

I´m terribly sorry but it seems like me and Whatoncewas keep missing eachother today.

I´ll be gone for the rest of the day so the duel can´t happen today.

What happens now?

Well you guys do technically still have till midnight to complete the match. But to my knowledge, I havent seen you in the chatroll at all the pass 2 days (or maybe you were when I wasnt around?). I know WhatOnceWas was waiting in the chatroll lastnight and the night before with me for awhile.

Have you guys tried PM'ing each other?

Also, round 2 of the tournament has begun today. Round 2 will end midnight of tuesday. Players should contact their opponents asap via private message and/or chatroll to get things under way. Skype chat and MSN are also alternatives.

I am never ever on Chatroll nowadays (too buggy) so that explains that part. I tried PMing him and we could react to eachother but never were on at the same time unfortunately.

Midnight has passed now so I guess neither of us pass?

It wouldve probably been the best if the rounds would last over a weekend, to be able to stay up longer, be here in order to get through the timezones thingie. But since its double elimination, it would take 8 rounds/weeks for this tournament, I need to talk with Hajo about it.

I think next time theres a tournament we shuffle, but i will require the timezone of the players, so i can match them for avoiding scenarios like that.

Eventually people will be matched up with different time zones anyway.

Maybe there should be a set time for when players should be in chatroll.

EDIT: Alright, after having talked with Asa earlier today and doing abit of thinking. I'm going to reconsider the deadline for each round of the tournament. I will give each round of the tournament a lasting deadline of one week. This is more than enough time to play your given matches throughout each round. However, the bracket will have to remain the way it is. If it were to change from where it has progressed so far, then we'd more than likely need to do a full reset because changing something from one or few particular people would be completely unfair...

So, animehot2 and Wolxhound, since you two are the only ones in round 1 still at the moment. You will have until friday to play your match, be sure to PM Asa and myself the outcome of the match. Whoever wins that can go ahead and contact Darkhilt so that you can begin round 2.

We need to get round 2 moving so we can also begin the loser's bracket as well. As for round 2, the deadline will be till the end of sunday (midnight pacific time).

Round 3 will not begin until round 2 is completed. Once round 2 is completed, then we can begin the loser's bracket of the tournament.
