Tony Hawk series

Anyone here a fan of the Tony Hawk games? What are your favorite games from the series? Mine personally are THPS3, THUG, and THAW. Have you ever played any of the other extreme sports games that copied the Tony Hawk formula. X-Games skateboarding tried and failed miserably, but games like BMXXXX and Aggressive Inline did a pretty good job. Anyone care to share anything they particularly liked about the Tony Hawk games?

I have a lot of childhood memories associated with THPS3. I spent way too much time on that game, including online mode. It is also technically the first game I learned to speedrun.

I loved playing THPS2 on PC and THAW on PS2 back in the day. I even bought the collector's edition of THAW because it included one of my favorite levels from THPS2 that wasn't included in the regular edition of the game. I did play some other "xtreme sports" titles back in the day. Go Go Hypergrind was an interesting twist on Tony Hawk where all the characters were cartoon characters drawn by Spumco. I also played many snowboarding games on the N64, but it is hard for me to differentiate them based on memory.

I have loved the tony hawk series for a good long time, I still find myself playing them to this day when I feel like doing some easy playing. My favorite are thps1,2,4 and THUG

I personally enjoyed American Wasteland. But the other games definitely had their charm as well. It's sad that in recent years they never could keep the steam they had flowing after American Wasteland.

I enjoyed a lot THPS2 on my PS1, spent hours playing it with my friends.
I've never been, however, a big fan of skateboarding back when i was a kid. Started to
like it when 2 of my friends picked up skateboarding as hobby/sport. Since then i grew interested in this discipline and started watching videos and stuff. Also, i bought Skate when it came out (better than THPS imo).

Pizza Hut Demo Disk was my first bit of THPS.. Those demo disks were god tier now that I recall them.
Will never forget the Heaven stage in THPS2, and the secret characters the first three games had.

Oh Tony Hawk, memories of the glory days.
I owned the first four games and then dropped the franchise, but those times were endless fun. The fourth has to be my overall favourite.

I remember playing the first 3 and love the game but also loved the soundtracks on them. But as time went along interest changed in gaming and those games sort of got boring.

THPS4 and THAW. Amazing games. P8 was mediocre. Everything else afterwards can suck donkey balls for all I care.
I do need to play the THUG games though. Heard they're two of the best in the series.

I personally played mainly the first and second games, but I still enjoyed every bit of it.
They're honestly the only real sports game I enjoy playing, considering most other sport games you would have more fun just playing them in real life.

THPS 2 and 4. I have so many childood memories with these games. Project 8 was okay, but from then on the franchise was pretty much dead.
