Utawarerumono (English) (Voice patch)

I can't remember there being more than one iso file for Uta, so yeah, just mount that one and the installation window should pop up.

Here a tips and hint for someone who want to play this game. Can't hurt anyone if you read one!

[1] If the player kill an enemy with last hit then he will get additional 10 bp.
Although eruruw can't never get additional bp cause she can't kill an enemy.
Instead her skill can only used for healing her own allies.
If you already learn how to use combo, I advised to use it efficiently.
Cause just like the first [1] tips, this time kill an enemy using last combo hit.
Will earn you another additional 10 bp, make it 20 bp total if you kill an enemy and use combo hit.
P.S Still don't know how use combo just go to the tutorial and learn there.
Lastly tutorial mode stage lv will open if you play along with the story.
So make sure to visit it every once in while and I mean not after the game end.
But everytime the story goes to certain time, like you already made country of your own and so on.

I've having a bit of troubles with starting the game, in a crashing sort of way. Installing it with the english patch installs correctly, but running the game crashes without a error message when I try to run it. Installing it from the disk itself goes alright also, but running it gives this error.

Running on Windows 7 x64. The no error crash also appears on my 2nd rig, haven't installed it on it to see if the error box appears with the japanese version. Main comp is running japanese local, while the 2nd one is set to english and running windows xp


Any ideas?

nope, its a 'mount-to-play' kind of thing

1st~
all files should go in one folder under whatever drive u installed it (ex, Local disk C:/ Program files/ Utawarerumono)

2nd~
only copy-paste the actual SFS file into the main folder

or maybe u just forgot to mount Utawarerumono.iso file before playing the game.

I've found some sort of bug, at one point in the Voiced english Utawarerumono the part Aruruw give her ne-san the nick name Eruga it freezes then closes itself so for any of u guys who gets the same bug. just run that one line in the non-Voiced version, save, then run the save in the Voiced game

btw this is a very big spoiler so do NOT press this unless u have watched the anime and gotten past the Oboros conversation

Hm? If we just use the utaware-voice.exe file we don't need the to mount the .iso correct? Because it always worked for me without having to mount the .iso file.

And my god lol, the game goes so fast during the main screen/chat.

EDIT: Just finished the game. I've had my good moments and sad moments. It was a really great one, moved me quite alot during the story. Definitely will play this again once I play through my other VN's~ ^~^

T.T~~~~~~~~~~ Can anyone teach me how to mount ISO.? Cause i try googling and youtubing but the instruction is just unclear. I have Daemon Tools pro(trial) but i don't get the "image" thing. Anyone help please?

Which files did you extract? The game itself or the voice files? I ask this because you have to download the main game and then you have the voice links. Maybe you extracted the voice links.

I just tested all the file and they were like this:



When you extract these links you'll have a file named "[Utawarerumono].iso", that's the file that you should mount. By the way, I just checked the contents of that file and you have there one named "disc1Data.LAC". I guess that that's the file you are talking about. So do this: Instead of extracting "[Utawarerumono].iso" (because it seems you extracted it), mount it with Daemon tools and install the game.

I'm having difficulty in combos @@.. it's too hard to guess about the timing.. can anyone teach me how to make it easier?.. tnx^_^
