Video Game Journalist, are they needed?

My view on video game journalism is more aimed at the people who read their stuff. I think a lot of times people will forget that reviews and the like are nothing but their opinions, and take them too seriously. I am personally guilty of this. Somebody needs to report the gaming news as it breaks so yes, being that video games are a major part of media, video game journalists are indeed needed. I also think that sometimes they need to stop trying to be the moral compass of the community. Personally I am a self proclaimed misogynist so stop telling me that I shouldn't hate seeing women as protagonists. Does it make me a bad person that I like tits in almost every part of my daily life? If that is the case then so be it, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna let some nerd ass neckbeard judge me for it.

If you like tits everywhere, why not on a game protagonist? You get to swivel the camera whenever you want.

Well a definition of a misogynist is a person that hates, dislikes, mistrusts, or mistreats women. I don't like seeing women do things beyond their means...but I really don't want to get into this here.

I feel video game journalism is needed just as much as any kind of specified or nishe journalism. Like any specific or nishe field it ends up being competitive and hard to do without influence of either other media sources or simply money.
