The torrent release from Fuwanovel also includes a PSP emulator I think. I only copied the ISO file and it works without any patching, So I assume that's an emulator.

Just started G-Senjou no Maou, I picked it up since it was in the 'Fakku Recommends' thread and many put it in their top 10.

I'll be honest, the beginning wasn't impressive at all, and I really can't stand most of the cast so far (Eiichi and Kanon above all, ugh), but I'll keep playing, I want to know why this is considered a good VN.

Time for me to post since I've already finished Umineko, Tick! Tack! and Throb! The Greatest Inventions.

As for Umineko, it was a great experience reading it once again but this time with the PS3 tweaks. I found some parts very fascinating with the addition of CGs and voices. Man, I even re-read at least three times the
Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with how Umineko turned out to be with the tweaks. A major thanks to the team that worked on the tweaks for managing to improve a already great VN.


Regarding Tick! Tack!, it turned out to be better than what I was expecting but it wasn't anything extraordinary or even close. It has it's funny parts, characters interactions (mostly funny), a little bit of drama and h-scenes. What is there not to like?
If the writer expanded some aspects of how the events were handled this would surely be a much more interesting story. And this is precisely the reason why Tick! Tack! doesn't stand out among similar VNs.

It has a generic soundtrack (already forgot about it) but not bad for the scenes. As for the voices, I don't have anything to complain about them since I liked them a lot (oh, Ai's voice is dangerous for me). About the art, I also liked it (again, the moment I saw Ai I fell in love).

I end up giving a 6.5/10 to Tick! Tack!.


I finished Throb! The Greatest Inventions about one hour ago and by far, it's the title I like most out of all the Softhouse-Seal VNs Mangagamer released so far.

I found the idea of the protagonist making inventions to use original and man, this is probably just me but the protagonist amused me to no end. His way of thinking and attitude was what made me finish reading the whole story.

Of course, being a Softhouse-Seal I didn't even take the game seriously since I already knew what to expect. In fact, the reason why I started to read this VN was because of its description and I'm not disappointed.
For me, the ending that fits the story the most is the Yuri ending (obviously, my favourite ending).

With this, because of the protagonist I give a 5.5/10 to Throb! The Greatest Inventions.

A torrent is already available since hours ago. I posted it on the uploads section.
Surely a release not appreciated by many. Users on 4chan claimed that they will work on a patch to re-insert all the original content. Let's see if that patch is going to get released or not. If that patch is not released I'm pretty sure that I won't read If My Heart had Wings.

Didn't notice the torrent since I'm just waiting for Totono HCG sets lol.

Let's hope guys from 4chan can do their best on this VN.

Still, this is a major letdown indeed. What makes me not really want to read this title is mainly the changes to the original script so that it can reach a 'wider audience'. I kind of understand the decision to release an all ages product to reach that 'wider audience' but they made a terrible choice on choosing a VN without an all ages release and censor it to no end. On top of this, they don't intend to release a patch to re-insert the original content. This just demotivates me from reading If My Heart had Wings.

Honestly, I really hate the "attempt to appeal the wider audience" without any good reason. Fuckin' prioritize your "real" readers first then give out the SFW version, not the other way around.

Heck, most All age version out there was originally 18+ before getting the all age rating. The Reason those VNs that received an all age rating after their 18+ version was because it's popular with the market and can be easily be converted.

But in this debacle it just feels like outright blatant censorship. This was definitely different with "EF ~A fairy tale of the two~" by NNL, because they gave us OPTIONS, effing fuckin' OPTIONS, to skip the NSFW stuff.

Finished Dangan Ronpa : 9/10
To keep it short, since I don't want to spoil you guys in any way.

It's like playing a game with:
-999 tension and atmosphere
-Phoenix Wrights gameplay, but "with guns"
-while using crack

But I don't know if this is caused that I used the "normal" difficulty, but sometimes I felt that some of the cases were too easy.

So, I'd Recommend setting all the difficulties to Malacious which is the hardest from the start.

And there's one annoying thing that I don't like that seems to be forced in just for "replayability": Eventhough you've finished the game 100%, you need to buy the CGs, cutscenes, arts, OST and movies with in-game currencies, which you can only get by searching randomly or getting high scores in each chapter.

I've only finished the Good Ending, which is like 90% of all the contents, and with all the money that I got from that play, I could only afford maybe 40% from all of it.

If My Heart Had Wings. I didn't really mind them removing the H-scene and editing the kiss scene, it's just the removal of sexual jokes that gets me. It just ruined it for me. When I play a VN, I play it for the story and the comedy. (Can't deny that I play for the H-scene as well, but that's just extra for me)

... Speaking of which, why don't I try playing some PSP Visual Novels on an emulator. While there are no sex (kushun; nowadays the lack of 18+ content made the VN feel like, well, lacking even though it's not), there certainly are some pretty enticing stories...

Also, I remember that there's one PSP game also from the author of the Infinity series, and its synopsis is about a group of people finding out that they are lab rats trapped for an unknown experiment, and were scheming to escape. However, little did they know or remember that they have already tried the same thing, that they had already tried to escape in the past but ultimately failed.

It's basically Infinity, though I'm not sure if it's part of the series (the concept sounds pretty damn similar). Do you know what that game is, Kaimax? It had a Chinese title (read it from a Chinese game magazine a year ago) so I don't remember, though it should be pretty famous...

I also want to add that, as laughable as it may sound, one of the main points of the game made me think a lot: that is, how money can really turn people into the most detestable felons. And the sad part is, it is true for us as well - in too many places a life is worth less than a stack of bills.

I like that now, even though that only 2 girls got new H-scenes, the other 2 got small events. In the original it was only 2 H-scenes.

The reason why I'm posting this here is because I'm gonna read Yosuga no Sora. I've been interested in this title for a long time for obvious reasons =3 After seeing a recent discussion about it on 4chan with screens of the translation I decided to read it even if it's partially translated . I'm going for Kazuha's route first and then Sora's. Sora's route is only available after finishing at least one route.

Honestly, I'm a bit worried about the translation of the un-translated parts (Aaeru will translate the h-scenes, just read the thread I linked) but I know I won't mind that much at least the h-scenes. Let's see how this will develop. There's still a lot of work to do.

Oh, and it seems a user with the name Moenovel posted on the nyaa page (the one where the torrent is) claiming to be the developer requesting the removal of the torrent.
