[Locked] Working links & Reuploads

Well, I'm a bit random on the uploads but I focus on the high profile VNs that aren't uploaded, ones that are translated or have a translation in progress or request that are made since the links are dead.
If I try to upload something that is about to be released I'll PM you.

Unfortunate. I try to avoid this by making my file names unsearchable through search engines by just leaving out all the vowels of the title, or just abbreviating the title. Password protecting each individual MF link works too, but since a lot of your uploads are more than 5-7 parts, that becomes too much of a hassle.

Well, I actually abbreviated the tile and the RAR's were password protected for extraction. I guess that this was just unavoidable.

I'm going to start uploading again with other account but I'll use a link protector and the file names won't be even related to the game title. This might work at least better. I'm not sure about password protecting each individual link. As you said, it's too much of a hassle.

For anyone who's wondering, I'm going to focus on uploading first the translated titles and the ones that are being translated. Then I'll probably upload some untranslated titles.

Yeah, I'm just password protecting every other link, or every 3rd link or something like that. I'm thinking of using a link protector as well. Makes it a bit more inconvenient for downloaders, but should keep the links alive for much longer. I'm also gonna follow you in password protecting my rars now.

Me too. I haven't uploaded too much, only 13 VNs so far, but it kind of hurts to see that effort wasted.


Edit: Katahane re-uploaded. And that will be all for a little while. I might not be able to re-upload anything for the next 2 weeks or so...

Makes me think, The few visible people making the effort of restoring the section is amorim, Zetsubo and me.

There were some users previously that started doing some uploads, however, they disappeared, or better said, currently upload on other sites since some of their posts were against the rules. They intend to make profit from the downloads.

It seems that Fakku isn't really the place for the uploaders to post download links for Visual Novels at least which is unfortunate.

Can I re-upload Utawarerumono and Shuffle! or is it done ?

Unless amorim wants to reupload it himself, i suggest waiting for his reply.

All help is appreciated so do it. Make sure that the release you're uploading is working.

Take a look at this page. There's some patches that update the eye killer font that mangagamer used.
You could include or link to where we get the patch in your post with the re-upload.

Then if you can upload it, it'll be appreciated.
