World of Tanks

Tier 1 was easy to get out of since the experience barriers were quite low. I'm going for whatever tanks fit my play-style at the time. Right now I'm doing both American and German trees.

Still not sure what tree I want to finish next. I really do want to try out the Pershing out since it seems like a fun Medium in Tier 8, but also thinking about going and getting the IS-3, the best tank hands down, in Tier 8.

I loved my VK45B. That thing was pretty good. Probably not the greatest out of all the T9 Heavys, but it trained you how you should play a Maus before getting one. The only complaint I ever had with the VK45B was it's ability to peek over hills. Then again, I still feel like it was a good trade off between having a decent, low-profile Heavy.

On the other hand, I hated the grind with the VK30P and the VK45A. Gawd those tanks were the horrible for me. Both are pretty freakin' large with suck weak armor for their tiers.

So, again I grinded for nothing, it seems I can't enjoy the game in the final tiers. :/

That said, I'm more than happy to rebuy the T32, despite the average stats of the gun (for its tier) I had some of my greatest games in this thing.

Anyway, now that I've learned to stay away from Tier 9-10, I wonder which line I should grind next. The upcoming American light tanks look promising, and I have several modules unlocked on the British tech tree so I could try the mediums (not much sense to grind the heavy line when the meds have the same guns but superior mobility).

And then I picked up several patrol duties in some of tanks because I tried to suicide but I couldn't :(

last I checked my is-6 has like, 7 patrol duties. Mostly from the old redshire.

Just joking. I'm an inconsistent player and my global winrate shows it (slightly above 51% after almost 5k games), so when I do get good results it's satisfying. :P

Didn't know what to do, so I re-bought T30 to try the infamous 155mm boomstick. Compared to the 120mm it's a whole new experience, I so enjoy slamming enemies for 700+ damage per shot. :3

Of course, the reload is atrocious (17,71 seconds with vents, rammer and 100% crew) and the gun is inaccurate for TD standards, but when it hits, you can feel the pain.

Outstanding lag is back with 9.2 for me.

I do see higher ping rates than I've seen them before the patch. 9.1 I was running around 80-90 ping (this is playing from Korea playing on American servers), and now I'm getting around 120-130 ping.

Might go away after some time, but hopefully they can fix it if it become to consistent.

The ping here (EU Server) is not a problem, though sometimes it just skyrockets for no reason and playing becomes impossible - this usually happens when it's flooded with players, so in the late afternoon and evening.

Also, I haven't experienced lag problems so far, though the game did crash more than once right before the update to 9.2, I wonder why.

over here in NA west I don't think I've had a single lag or stutter issue, which I recall frequently occurred on 9.1

Guys, I need your help.

After buying the T30 I'm a bit low on money, so without having to spend a crapton of real cash for bundles or other stuff, I would like to ask if there's a good low-tier moneymaker in the game, possibly a standard tank since now I treat gold as a precious commodity. I have most low tiers unlocked, so feel free to suggest.

I used to farm money with SU-85 and Stug III. Both great tank destroyers and good money maker imo. Anyway, check this out to get a general idea.

I actually had a lot of fun with the su 100y, definitely not for everyone, but credit multipliers are moot if you can't drive the tank well enough to rake in the money or have fun while doing so.

Still, I'd like to avoid costly premiums, so looking at that chart, the ones I'm more tempted to try are either the Panzer IV Schmalturm, or the Chi-Nu Kai (both will get a discount this month). I'm more inclined towards the Japanese since there will be several events for that nation, though the tank itself isn't exactly stellar.
