I used to raid pretty hardcore pre-bc with my friends guild. it usually ended up with us not getting anything done but my god the times on vent were funny as hell and made it totally worth it. then bc came and most people quit and only me and a few others stayed. I got pretty hardcore in the arena scene and was owning the season2 and 3 bracket with my 2k team. That was fun until I realized that fuck I'm gonna have to keep doing this nonstop just to be on top of the game because of the constant new seasons. And the whole fact that just about everyone I ran into had a full epic set that was way too easy to acquire. I also enjoyed making different UIs for my dude. The crazy arc bars that I had at 60 were my favorite but they didn't keep the party arc bars around after that :(

Here's a bunch of pics of the good ol' days on my photobucket:

Oh ya, know of any good private servers that don't lag you up every 10 seconds? I'd like a good high-rate or a funserver or both in 1.

so far the best one I could find is: logon.wowscape.net but it still lags you up every once in a while.

I got into "the world of warcraft" when a friend of mine gave me a 14 day trial about 2 years ago, i sometimes still play it. I really cant call it an addicting game though, i always quit after about a month of playing and don't play again for another half year... Its fun for a while but quickly bores when there's no end in sight, and everything becomes the same. Probably why my highest character is only 64, which i actually did in three weeks. I keep going back to check it out for updates, which is also why i started playing again since a few days (biggest update now is probably the level change for mounts from 40 to 30).

I did play tons of WoW back in the day until BC came out. Burning Crusade kinda ticked me off (things got too easy and boring) and I completly stopped. Haven't touched it since about 9 or 10 months now and am absolutely happy with that :)

Same with me, I keep coming back to it for a few months...quit for a few months...back again, etc. etc.

No wai? they lowered req on mounts? o_o

funky.

I usually check the website too for updates and stuff, like you said. Haven't seen the mount stuff...but whatevs (did check out the beta talents though, really like the rogue ones since I'm mainly a rogue player ^^;;)

but yeah...maybe i'll start up again.
bro just brought it up an hour ago actually haha

Yeah, they made it cheaper too: "The Apprentice Riding Skill costs 35g for training and an additional 10g for the mount" what was is it before, like 100g in total?

Eurg i might be going back into WoW once WotlK comes out. Quit a few months ago, when Sunwell came out. Full t3 9/9 pre-BC, 6/8 t6 BC. WoW is the only game i'm able to be addicted to for a long time. Must admit i've had alot of fun and to be honest it is the best MMO. AoC is boring, WAR is also boring ( its so fucking slow its retarded!) I love all Warcraft games, the story and well the next installement of WoW is pretty huge specially with Arthas, a major character in the Warcraft lore. So thats pretty much my reason why i'm gana go back. I killed Illidan, Kil'Jeaden i could care less about killing him since he's only lore important if you read the ''Sunwell Trilogy'' which i did but its so, minimal, to the core story.

My last fraps before i quit, the first boss of Sunwell. Since youtube now features better quality you might want to click the link below and actually go to youtube :P

Bleh I might start again once WotLK comes out, too...

BUT

that's the same time when I'm getting my 360...

which means...

Halo 3/Tales of Vesperia/GoW/Infinite Undiscovery/Last Remnant/SO4...etc.etc.

.....yeah. don't think I'm gonna have time for WoW ^^;;

As to Toxic WoW, do you need to have an active accnt (for the actual game)
or do you just need the game?

...and don't you risk getting fined like a bajillion bucks if blizz finds out? >_>

i've never played this game and proud to say that

I liked AoC for the first 20 levels, i was really getting into the story because the NPC's actually spoke to you... Then i hit 20 and all voices were gone. The same goes for WoW, i never even got a bit of the story, there's just way too much reading involved. When questing its basically just searching for question marks and searching for the objective either online or via some in game questing addon. If i want to read a book ill go out and buy one... I think that's what all these games lack, they should take a look at single player games and take some features of that over to mmorpg's, which AoC did do for the first 20 levels (i know these games have limitations because they have such large worlds, but the story is what makes these games, they should make it easier to get into it).

.. I spent WAAAAAAYYYY too much time leveling on that cursed game... So i went to private servers and here iam now, having lotsa fun on working battlegrounds, Instant lv 70, Pvp for Gear, private server called Wowscape! <3.. The most amusing thing is that its legal. Blizzard (For some reason) doesn't give a crap about the people that play private.. Before they did, but not now. It will probably come eventually tho.

I was told that Blizzard actually gave out their server information for people to make private servers...and I really wouldn't be surprised because...they're cool like that

Anyways...I've got a BE priestess out on Lightning's Blade-US...Priestescow

I would so try to hunt you down on that same server if I still payed money to them. I'd hunt but if you'd show me some lovin I wouldn't hurt =)

I dunno why it says it was updated in march last, I stopped playing before the new year.

I played World of Warcraft, but it gets so dull after a while. I actually quit, the game is still installed but I don't think I'll play it again. Especially since I play a free game now that's sort-of like WoW. Also if I do pay for a game, it might be Warhammer Online ~ because that game is going to be ten times better than WoW, in my opinion anyway.

last time I checked, they nerfed down the awesomness of WAR a lot...

If anyone is interested in starting they have the new recruit a friend feature where both you and your friend get triple experience and a second hearth stone set to wherever you friend is and if the new guy stays for 2 months you get a free zhevra mount.

For the free mount I'll set up buddy system for someone.

I stopped playing cause it started to interfere with school, so yeah. If I have time I'll play when the expansion comes out.

I doubt it though.
