XBOX 360 LIVE HELP!!

okay, I have an Xbox 360, but no Live. I was wondering if it was possible to take the Wi-Fi adapter hooked up to my computer and hook it into my 360 to get internet. is this possible?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say no one here knows... ^_^;;

I don't think so. As far as I know, if you have a wireless connection, the only way you can connect to live is through a network adapter made specifically for the 360, namely the Pelican,


Or this one, which is slightly more expensive.

I think you can connect to the internet if you connect your 360 to the computer, and kinda piggy back ontop of the comps internet. Atleast thats what I think I read somewhere

If all else fails there's always the 360 wifi adapter. It's pricy but it does the job (I use it)

well, that's just it. I don't want to spend a thousand bucks on something I may already have...

You'd need an ethernet cable to do that, though, and a computer right next to your 360. It'd be easier, for the most part, to just use the Wifi adapter (provided you have wifi to begin with.)

I use the 360 WiFi adapter, but if you have an ethernet cord, you can hook it into your WiFi or computer to get Live

could I use the wi-fi adapter I haev plugged into my computer if I unplug it from the comp and plug it into the xbox?

But who knows, and what's the worst that could happen? Your 360 explodes into shrapnel and kills you painfully as your house burns to ashes around you?

Yep you need the xbox 360 one or directly connect it to your modem, no other way

I'm guessing from the fact that she never showed up on Live and isn't back here, when she told me she would be if it didn't work, that something went wrong. <.<

I just use an ethernet cord that runs from my router to my 360.
