Xbone just because it's what all my friends are getting, and the Halo series. Too many fond memories.

This.
The Xbox 360 was kind of disappointing for me, and I can only assume the XboxOne to be the same as the 360 (and it will cost twice as much).

I probibly will get both, but i will get the xbox one down the road. The ps4 I am getting first mainly for all my games I have on psn, and for elder scrolls online, and final fantasy 14 a realm reborn.

PC gaming has better Graphics and more community input but it's much more complex and i personally hate having to lower Graphics on games seems wrong they put that work into the game you should experience it all and to do that every year or 2 you'd have to upgrade something to be ahead of the curve also when you say Computer people think keyboard and mouse which doesn't, in my opinion feel as good as a controller. So it has great benefits but equally bad negative where consoles are a happy medium no complicated things to run a game, no upgrading individual parts, cheaper and no need to lower the graphics on a game.
That's my thoughts, though i do want to get a good gaming computer eventually so yeah hopefully soon i'll be joining you. :p
The thing is though that as far as graphics go the console norm is low on a computer port. For example, BF3 on Xbox and PS3 ran on a computer-equivalent low and had half the framerate of the PC version. On your controller point, any game on the PC that would've come out on the consoles will have controller support. Heck, even some strictly PC games will have controller support. In terms of upgrading, I haven't had to upgrade my computer in 3 years (coming on 4) and I still haven't encountered a game I can't ramp up to ultra. It's not even more expensive unless you want cutting edge NAO. The 540 dollar graphics card my machine uses is now a 150 dollar graphics card. People just think computers are super expensive because they don't shop deals on say newegg or just look at pre-assembled rigs instead of building one themselves. You could probably build the machine I took 1100 to build for 6-700 depending on what time of year you build it. 600 for sure if you shopped around Black Friday.

I believe your info is incorrect, all psn game will be playable on the ps4, but ps3/ps2/ps1 disk game will not.

Both... but I'll wait like a year, there are some reasons like not many games right now, and they always upgrade the system and goes whit the same price or even less.

While I'm not getting one within the first few months after launch, I do intend to get the PS4.
For a couple reasons. Trust it a little bit more. Need to wait and see for a year or two to see if Microsoft tries to flip back to their original policies on that system. Appreciate the PS4 being cheaper and pretty used to Playstation having the PS1 through to the PS3.
Another key reason is just because of the kinds of games that will likely get on there. Just with Sony having that much stronger presence in Japan more likely to get the JRPGs and the ones that do go to XBox One will probably be on both anyways.

I'll get the PS4 first because the games i prefer are mostly Sosy exclusives anyway.
Mind you,i'm not dissing the Xbox 360/One as i also currently have the 360 to play Microsoft exclusives but multi platform games i tend to get for Ps eg. GTA IV,Borderlands 2.So i'll probably get the XboxOne after some time when the price drops.Come on,Halo an Gears of war are some pretty awesome games.

For the time being, neither. Maybe 2 or 3 years down the line depending on how the first party line up is, I might consider getting either one.I'm with Cruz on this one. As of right now, I'm not seeing that many games for PS4 or Xbox One that are selling me on the console.
Usually with consoles, if you want a few years, there will be a newer version of said console (e.g. PS3 slim). Why buy one right now?
I'm also a PC gamer, so I'm in no rush to buy either console.

I don't really have much of a loyalty to any one brand (Famicom->N64->PS2->Xbox360), but I pretty much can't decide on any of the new-gen consoles. I'll probably wait a year after release to decide. (I'm like a few others where my 360 is my main gaming rig and my laptop is for general computer stuff) But most of my friends have started to transition over to PCs more (and given the few games I am interested in are also going to PC), so I may instead consider building a rig within a year's time.

Assuming i buy any console i will get PS4.
My PC was and always will be my main gaming rig.
Only reason i bought 360 was to play just 2 games, afro samurai + final fantasy whatever that number was (the one whit lightning).
And then i got disappointed, since FF i didn't like at all.
Ooh well Afro was still good for me ;D
