I don't know how many people here pay for their eroge. Hell, I don't know how many people here play them for other reasons than the H-scenes. But if you're interested in a game with some pretty deep story to go with the H-scenes, you should try Yume Miru Kusuri ~ A Drug That Makes you Dream. I just got done with the third girl and I have to say that all told the stories were about as good as some books I've read.
Each girl deals with a different theme, but they're pretty mature as far as they go; suicide, drug use, and fear of an unknown future. Generally in these games I only play through once because I don't care about more than one character, but each story in this one grabbed me rather quickly. The art was generally very well done as well, with a kind of watercolor theme to most of the CGs. The voice acting was well done as well.
Anyway, if you have the means I encourage purchase of the title, but if you're so inclined it's not exactly hard to find in other ways.

This is one of the best eroge in the world. The music was great, characters were wonderful, the plot deep and involving, and the endings were tear-jerking. Oh yeah the sex scenes were great to :D

Hajime-sama was also the scenario writer of Kana - Little Sister, which is another great work that Peach Princess has also translated. Speaking of PP, they are also currently working on another eroge that Hajime-sama wrote the script for: Family Project ~Kazoku Keikaku~. Hopefully this will come out soon now that PP is done with Snow Sakura.

Thanks for the extra info! I had heard something like that and I was already looking forward to Family Project. I have Kana ~ Little Sister, but I haven't played it yet; the lack of voice acting kind of puts me off. I know a game doesn't need it to evoke an emotional response, but after the excellent work in YMK I think the silence might bother me more.

I'm doing the same thing hehe. I find Snow Sakura to be more moderately paced but still humorous. Once I'm done with it I still got Pick Me Honey!, Heart de Roommate, and other titles that I haven't had the time to play until I finally round of with Kana. Hopefully Family Project and Princess Waltz will be out then--

Out of the three girls in Yume Miru Kusuri. Did anybody have any favs? All the stories were great but I think going through Aeka's was the most well it sure got me in tears :D haha

ive wanted to play Yume Miru Kusuri for a while but i am way too cheap to buy and i have a grudge against j-list(personal reasons). so i dont know where to download free if any1 is will ing to tell me post a site on this forum(direct links arent allowed so name a site ill look around) or pm me. i realllly want to play this one^^

i played through all of the three endings, each one had something to keep me hooked, but i loved most of all Aeka's ending altho i wished he would have done something sooner to help her, i have a soft spot for that type of story, a girl is bullied and a guy saves her, ooo makes me shed a tear

found each girls storyline and circumstances to be unique, the creators sure spent dsome time with the story for this release unlike most that get (commercially) translated, personally I liked the Mizuki route, Aeka's route was pretty tragic for my tastes

I have tears in my eye everytime I remember Kouhei talking to the baby in Mizuki's route. That scene made me cry manly tears for a while.
In any case, I'd waste my money for Mizuki's route alone, it was well worth every cent for thos who want a very tear jerking climax.

Ahh.... YUME MIRU KUSURI, Drug that make you dreams. I won't say it was the best h-game I've ever played. But it's definitely the most interesting one. The music, storyline, CG and character development are all perfect! One of the most memorable game for me.

actually this was my first CG type H-game <_< glad I chose it. Haven't actually got through the entire game yet. Only got through Aeka's storyline. <_< it made me feel bad going through a second time having to ignore Aeka T-T. Really got me tearing up. Listening to Tsubaki talk about first H-games made me feel related to the game a little bit

Yume miru kisuru is an H-game with a deep emotional stories :cry: . its not just a normal echi game, playing this game is like reading a romantic first class hand-write novel(hope its not exaggerating for you all, but thats what I kinda feel). I'll recommend this game, Salute for Yamada Hajime-san

I think this game is awesome. I just recently got it and have only gone through Aeka's route and it touched me. I actually don't care for the art style, but the music is where its strong points lie. (besides the story) The more Eroge I play, I find I've stopped caring for the H-Scenes and have started to pay more attention to the story... but this one had good scenes and script which made me happeh. Damn good game, I highly recommend it. Now to finish the other 2 routes...
