So staircase subs site has been down since last night I believe. Anyone got any news on that? Insem hasn't mentioned anything on his twitter about it.

Nngh. So tempted to play this game. But I dont speak Japanese. I hope the patch stuff can be downloaded soon.

Bumping this cuz I'm retarded.

Okay so I know my stuff when it comes to putting in patches and also well-aware that there's two patches for separate routes. I have them both in the game folder but the most recent patch (the one with Elina's route only) is translated. Every other possible heroine is in JPN.

A little help/advice would be much appreciated.

I don't understand what you asked.
There's only Elina's patch (the newest), other routes are still Jap.

The old patch only translated till the end of common route.

I heard the translator (Or the main translator at least) is retiring.

We've known this for a few weeks, thanks for coming to put more salt in the wound.


That said, any news on this other group that was supposed to take over or did that just not go through?

..Does anyone have a copy of the partial patch they can put up on mediafire? Its in maintence modo when I try to download the cirno patch. :c

The former translator is kind of full of shit. He originally promised that he would release other translated routes(I remember it was at least one more route) to the public if he didn't find a team to take over. He didn't release anything. If you check his twitter he's super secretive over this group he's on the fence about or something. People were speculating that he never actually did more than one route and just claimed he did more. Glad to get anything at all tbh but the way this guy is acting just peeves me off.

Guys favor... all the controls are in jap, anybody knows how to make it full screen? hope it is not impossible as I installed it in windows 7

according to his blog before it came down all route but Miu's were complete and he was looking for a group to just finish the one. he also said if no other group took over he'd release the other girls routes leaving just the one untranslated. But this might all be a crock of shit by the sounds of things.

If it is, then great.
But I'm not getting my hopes up.

Just a heads up. Evidence suggests that Insemination is now continuing the translation on this title. An anon on /jp/ provided an explanation using references given by Insemination on his twitter. See this post.

Since the reasoning seems pretty solid I'll include this update on the next update on the translation status thread.
