Ayana Tomori works as a shrine priestess. One day, she discovers that one of her duties is to give her virginity to the men of the village and bear offspring that can continue the traditions of her family. Distraught, Ayana tearfully wishes to escape her tragic reality. On a fateful, rainy day, the sound of lightning wakes her from her slumber. She is suddenly enveloped by a blinding light which, to her surprise, summons her into another world.
