Sex between (blood-related) cousins is INCEST,
not "inseki," which applies only to sex between
family members with no blood connection (like
in-laws, adoptees, and step-relatives). It's very
cut-and-dried.

Usages shift, and I have seen this brought up in so many places. We're in the midst of a partial shift, with inseki being taken as "lesser incest"

You're probably right, but I've always been an advocate of clarity
in language, and I don't approve of the "shift," because it makes
the definition of "inseki" murkier---which is a big sin in my book.

The art is beautiful, but the chapter's contents leave me with rather complicated feelings...

Also, I would say that an 'adult' is someone who has the ability, means, and intentions to take responsibility for their own actions, whatever they may be. They do what is necessary for their survival and the survival of their family while taking the consequences of their actions into consideration to mitigate the risk to those whom they love.

Well, that would be my definition, at least. Society, it would seem, has rather different standards.

Did I miss something? Is she gonna date her junior or her cousin? Did I seriously skip a page or something? I thought she loved her cousin all along BECAUSE he was her hero and that, at the end, she'd end up dating the cousin, not the junior she might've made up... Guess I was wrong and it was just rape all along.

Ayuho is going to date her junior, with her cousin's
blessing. She never fully awakens during the rape,

He was jealous that his cousin Ayuho had developed feelings for some boy, and that said boy would possibly enter an intimate relationship with her after. When someone sees something beautiful that they cannot possess, they may instead attempt to destroy it so nobody else may have it. His frustrations with being unable to find a job probably contributed to the feelings which lead to raping her.

Those are my thoughts on the chapter, at least...

I usually adopt a forgiving tone when I discuss the moral failings of hentai characters
(who, after all, are not real people), but when a scumbag maliciously drugs and rapes
his sweet, innocent cousin ("I wanted to take [her] smile and wreck it"), I become much
less forgiving. He should be deeply ashamed of himself for the rest of his life.

Seriously though, page 12 bottom panel could be aptly described as: "It Was At that Moment, Onii-Chan Knew ... He F__ked Up!". Trouble is, he only realized it AFTER he drugged and raped his cousin; a girl who regarded him as an older brother and her Hero. And probably because artist-san willed it to be so, she remains wholly unaware of what happened.

Perhaps his only redeeming quality is displayed by the end, where he encourages her to pursue her junior at her school ... although perhaps in another time and place, he should have volunteered to "take responsibility, right?".

Notwithstanding, and IMHO, In The End There Can Be Only One Conclusion ..... "WHAT DA FUQ?"
