Well that was rather disappointing, was expecting the last page to have hime reveal he knew it was ruka all along.

Every aspect of this story confused the heck out of me. The sex scene was decent, tho'.

Dude literally fucked himself out of not one, but two meaningful relationships. Bein’ thick as a brick (in more ways than one) didn’t help much either.

This is a very muddy story. I still like it, but nothing about it is satisfying. The issue is how the story presents the characters not how they're actually are. The main issue here is the main girl, because her actions and behavior don't really match. There have been numerous stories where there is a slutty twin and a pure twin. There's many different stories that could come out of that set up, but this story appeared to be playing it straight where the slutty twin let go a perfectly good guy. However, we learn the "pure" twin is somewhat promiscuous as well, and it is implied she has already slept with multiple of her sister's ex-boyfriends. Now the guy wasn't the best person, but she also did what she could to deceive him. She then gets upset that he didn't recognize she deceived him, and that was enough to dump him herself. The ending then shows that the twin sisters were never that different in the first place, which is contrary to how strongly the sisters were contrasted. The end result is that it feels off.

What a coincidence, turns out she was the younger sister of his girlfriend.
Tch, what a useless fellow. He had so many chances to recognise her, to recognise that she wasn't her sister/his girlfriend and possibly gain her affection. I almost feel a little bad for her, she seemed rather hopeful when her sister pitched the idea to her that he would be able to tell it's her, considering what he said on the walk home from school about how he would never mistake them for each other.
He failed check number one, when they met up for the date. He then failed the next few checks when she was basically acting out of character from the girlfriend he remembers until sex, and finally at the end, after they had sex and he clearly should have noticed all the inconsistencies...He started to talk to her as if he was talking to her sister/his girlfriend, and that terribly bad move basically sealed his fate...In the sense that not only is he about to lose his girlfriend, but he also screwed up the one chance he had with her younger sister.
The way she uses the same terminology as her sister at the end, referring to him as an animal (implying she now agrees with her sister that he's just a sex monkey who can't tell the difference between them)...Yeah, you done screwed up, dude. You clearly don't deserve the title of Hentai Protagonist if you can't even tell the difference between them.

I really hope the artist makes a sequel!

Uh, ... that was (IMHO) rather complex - without giving out spoilers, unless some of these folks make some definite decisions, things will either remain unresolved, or get more complicated.

Will there be an attempt to do so? That's up to the artist, I suppose. 🤔
