Hinata and her Uncle Suguru have a distinctly unhealthy relationship.
Not only is it incestuous, but they're basically hate-fucking each other
in order to spite the same person: Hinata's father/Suguru's brother---
which makes this chapter an interesting little psychological study.

Yep, to add to the incestuous manner of the relationship, I think she also likes being with uncle and her liking those moments blinds her from seeing him as the opportunist scum that he is, which I'm sure deep down she knows by now. I say that because although manga rarely depicts it, I think she's not attractive in addition to being overweight so it could be she doesn't get a lot of attention from the opposite sex, so she gravitates toward a male who wants to be intimate with her.

BoBoBo depicts Hinata in baseball cap, shapeless shirt & baggy sweatpants,
as if to emphasize her lack of feminine appeal. We can safely assume she's
never had a boyfriend. She's well aware that her uncle's a scumbag, but he's
the only person she can turn to when she needs to blow off steam (verbally
or sexually), which is sadly emblematic of the limited options in her life.

Did I miss something? On the last panel she says she won't be coming back. Did something significant happen with her uncle this time that changed her mind about their relationship? The only thing I can think of is him saying that he would "take responsibility" if she got pregnant. Maybe that meant he was a better person than she thought he was and therefore not what she wanted in a sex friend.
Given the tagline of the chapter it is also possible she won't be going back to her family. She might actually run away or commit suicide as an escape.

I suppose in a way she sees a kindred spirit in her uncle, like that's how she might end up in the future if things keep going the way it is.
I can see where her father is coming from a little bit (Even though honestly I feel getting amazing grades isn't everything, not like your future is guaranteed just from that, though I guess having a good college on your resume helps), but he's being a bit too overbearing, I suppose. I mean, what her uncle said actually makes sense, maybe having a proper talk and taking her feelings into consideration too would make for more constructive dialogue.
What she said at that ending sounded rather meaningful. Because if what she said was true, then maybe she's thinking of really turning her life around, and not going back to her uncle might be a symbolic way of her leaving behind her old self and working harder for her future?
Either that or they are empty words and she'll be right back there the moment her father pisses her off again.

Cultural Note:
In Japan, your upward mobility depends almost entirely on your level of education
(assuming you're not born into a wealthy, upper-class, politically-connected family).
If you're forced to attend a low-level college, you're basically trapped in a low-level
income bracket for the rest of your life, with all the attendant social disadvantages,
such as limited opportunities for romance and marriage. So it's no surprise when
a Japanese student occasionally kills himself or herself on account of bad grades.

Her father comes across to me as pretty uncompassionate where he and her mother didn't find out what she excelled at. It just might happen her talents aren't in the areas her siblings were successful in. I'm not sure how flexible Japanese society is to where a young person can be directed to what he or she is good at but it seemed he was dumping on her for the end result, not her effort. The father is kind of a prick in that regard.

You have to feel sorry for Hinata. She's a big slob of a girl who isn't
very bright or very likeable. Her future prospects are dim, no matter
which path she chooses. At least, her mother loves her.

As well her mother should, her father as well. Her weight might [be] indicative of poor self-esteem she's had built up her entire life, which I'm sure is one of the big reasons she started sleeping with her uncle.

Another time and place, Hinata might reveal in rather explicit terms what's she's been doing with 'Uncle' (and quite possibly for quite some time), if only to see Otou-san's reaction (figurative or literal), which itself might not be pretty.
This story might also be considered a case of "Art Imitating Life" (the stereotypical belief that academic and occupational success means everything, and that those who seem to excel oft-times look down on those who don't), where once more, "... the names have been changed to protect the innocent."
"DAYUM!"

I, too, have an overbearing father with grandiose ideals of what he wants (read, needs) his children to be in life.
