Wait.... *reading again*... Is this for real? A rare vanilla story from Takashi without being really dark? I suppose this is a good start for the year!

Wow, sex, romance, family trauma repair, and writer fantasy all at once? Talk about hitting all the sweet spots.

When she showed up, I was totally expecting her to turn out to be his half-sister.

This was really cute, surprised because usually Takashi has something cruel worked into the story. 10/10

I guess sometimes living in the shadow of your dad can be quite tough. The feeling of inferiority must be pretty harsh.
I can kind of understand how he feels when she seems happier with the present from his dad compared to his, must have hit him quite hard. But hey, at least she went to his room while he was sleeping to...confess to him, so it ended up quite nicely.
Great ending though. I like how it started out making the dad seem like some kind of asshole, despite being a wingman and asking her to stay with his son. And also that manuscript that helped push things forward for their relationship...
And then by that ending, they reveal that he's actually a father who is rather proud of his son and expects much of him, a father who just...doesn't know how to express it(The irony being that he's a renowned author, what one might call a 'wordsmith' or 'someone who should be able to express complex things in words').
I like it. I really liked that reveal. And overall, I just really like this release.
