The Reason Why I Shoplifted Anthology

Always been interested in the series. I knew I just had to wait a bit until this came out. Time to start reading.

Wasn't a fan of the first one. As I have made clear before, NTR is bad imo. It's made worse by the ugly bastard bull.

The second one didn't seem to turn all the way to NTR, just felt like a cheating chapter. Satou-sensei is really sexy too, and I'm assuming that everything was wrapped up in a non-ntr bow.

That being said, the last chapter with Sasatani and her ex-sensei gave a nice endorphin rush of vanilla that made up for the first two. They were both attractive individuals, and seeing as how she had been left by her husband, while it is a form of NTR, it's not the same bullshit as the first chapter, so alls well that ends well.

All in all, 2 and 3 make up for 1's NTR, so real rating is 4 stars.

I'll be the first to admit that purchasing this didn't make a lot of sense given my tastes. I'm not really a fan of the ugly bastard theme and don't really like NTR.

That being said, this still won me over because of the insane art quality making it easier for me to look past the things I'm not fond of. The third entry in particular was the winner in my eyes, but buying this allowed me to look into the other two that I wouldn't have purchased under normal circumstances, which I've developed a bit of appreciation for. It's still not selling me on the ugly bastard and NTR tags, but that's alright.

Hats off to Ayakase Chiyoko for this one.
