To Catch a Ghost

This chapter rewards a second reading.  Once you figure
out what's going on, some aspects of the story become
more poignant and more meaningful.

(Page 2, panel 6) - Senpai realizes Yuuki has feelings for her, and she's probably
looking forward to a relationship with him (page 3, panel 1), without knowing she
will never see him alive again.

(Page 5, panel 1) - Senpai's face is filled with sorrow, probably because she has
decided to help Yuuki pass on, even though it means she'll never see him again,
in any form.

(Page 13, panel 2) - When Yuuki says he has no protection, Senpai replies,
"Oh... it's... probably fine." That's because she realizes she (probably) can't
be impregnated by a ghost.  It's a rather amusing line, within the context of
the story.

(Page 20, panels 1-7) - As Yuuki passes on, he fades away in Senpai's arms,
even while declaring his love for her (which is truly heartbreaking), but she
manages to grab her camera (page 20, panel 3) and snap one last picture
of Yuuki (page 20, panel 5), as he says, "I love you."

(Page 21, panel 4) - None of the pictures turned out, which Senpai regrets, but then
she discovers that the last, most important picture came through (page 22, panel 3).

I really wanted to make some dumb joke and thought about some while reading the story. Then I reached the last page... *wipes away a tear*

Damnit. My heart hurts like hell. I can't fap to this.

Last panel:Look at this photograph every time I (Breaks in to flash backs and starts remembering Nickelback song) chorus starts up as tears form in her eyes every memory apparently is figurative for protagonist in this story oh and the sex was killer since it sent him to heaven.

Wow. I missed this one. Part of me wishes I did, most of me wishes I didn't. Great story, a great tearjerker for me as well. Anything with talking about regrets will put me in a somber mood, esp concerning death.

Oh my heart was not ready for that ending. (⌯˃̶᷄ ï¹ Ë‚Ì¶á·„âŒ¯)

Let's not overlook the central irony of the story:
A member of the Occult Research Club (who
hunt ghosts) died and returned as a ghost.

I love subtle, sophisticated ghost stories like this chapter.  Ruriiro
Sugar's previous chapter, Sinner's Dream, is even more subtle,
since it's more of a psychological ghost story (and very dark, too).

Hey I was here to fap not tear up at the end!

This story hit a bit. Was not ready, but i really enjoyed it

So this is the sequel to To Catch a Predictor.

There should be a tag added for "suckling"

I've been waiting for a story that punched me in my feelings. I got what I asked for and I"m HUUUUURT 😢😢😢😢😢

Damn... that was a straight punch to my feelings. At first I thought she was rewinding time when he repeated what he was saying. But, nah, homie had regrets and she helped him move on.

Looked like simple and perhaps straightforward vanilla, ... until the last page is reached.

*sound of needle scratching across record*

"DAAAAYYYUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMM!" 😱😱😱😱😱

An intriguing title. The first thing that came to mind was the possibility that she would be the ghost and he would help her move on, or something, but it turns out...The ghost was actually him?
Interesting. And that bit at the end where it explained how ghosts remain at a certain spot while they have regrets...I guess that means she helped him resolve the one thing he regretted not doing before he passed on. In a way, it's a little sad that they can't spent any more time together, but she did a good thing, helping him pass on peacefully.
