This NEEDS a sequel so bad. Shit, I don't even care if its not hentai but I just have to see their reunion a few years down the road.

Wow, that was great. Very touching story, and very detailed setting. It's like you can feel how the town is, how the air smells... Everything salted with Hibasa's struggle and that boy who was able to give her a meaning to this episode of her life.
Btw, we need to see here on Fakku Higeta's first story on Comic Koh 2018-11, although I'm not sure if they have the license of the latest numbers of this magazine.

Another one of those artists whose releases I go into with hentai in the back of my mind. Always get caught up in the gripping story. Plus you know 48 pages isn't gonna be simple vanilla.

Questions for the Translators:
(1) On page 2, the class seems baffled (even a little rattled) when Hibasa writes her
name on the blackboard. Has she pulled off some kind of edgy trick with the kana?
If so, that page really deserves some sort of explanatory footnote.
(2) On page 12, last panel, the MC detects the trace of a country accent in Hibasa's
speech. That means she probably started school in a distant rural prefecture before
transferring so many times. Where might that be?

As I’m sure you know, kanji have multiple readings in Japanese so I think these kids were unsure of how the name was read and nothing to do with her handwriting. Also since the kanji are a combination of concepts (like momo being peach), hers were probably some that they saw as intimidating or scary. As a side note: I don’t think you’ll ever see an explanatory footnote in a chapter. The subscription has been around for almost 5 years and I don’t think there’s been any.

While they did indeed seem unsure how to read it, I think the main reason for the shock is simply the huge, strong, blocky writing over half the blackboard instead of the simple small vertical writing of the name we usually see in such cases.

Thank you very much for replying. I enjoy the little socio-cultural details.
Sometimes they're important. If I spot something particularly interesting
that might enhance everyone's reading pleasure, I'll drop an explanatory
footnote of my own in the comments (but only if I think I properly under-
stand the thing).

Ooh, 48 pages? And a lovely Vanilla tag? Nice.
This was quite the nice story. It had a great set-up, their relationship gradually developed into a romantic one and we also get to find out how the two of them have somewhat different views of the world and relationships, where she thinks it's not worth having one if it'll just disappear one day, but he believes that it's still worth it and all that...I like it.
I think they make a lovely couple, and with that ending...Yeah, I'm sure that with his determination, one day they'll meet again. And I'd certainly love to see that in, say, a sequel or something.

I was holding it together pretty well until the last page, and then the tears
flowed freely. This is easily one of the most touching chapters on Fakku.
If anyone tells you eromanga shouldn't be taken seriously, show them this chapter.
The sex scenes are not merely gratuitous fap fuel; they give the story its emotional
power. If we didn't witness the growing intimacy between Ryo and the MC, with its
heartwarming consummation, their inevitable parting would not be so heartbreaking.

Just in case anyone happens to wonder, there was no text on page 14, they're just decorative boxes.
