This is an odd chapter. Kotarou looks so feminine (especially with that
hairdo) that I initially assumed he was a girl. So I was expecting some
sweet yuri sex after page 3. Then I started noticing the male pronouns
(which, suspiciously, don't start to appear until near the end of page 4).
Even then, I wasn't entirely convinced Kotarou is a male until his cock
finally appears on page 11 (which is notably late in the story).

I can't help wondering if the chapter wasn't originally meant to be a yuri
tale with a futa twist. After all, if you turned Kotarou into a futanari (who
is concealing her futa identity as well as her relationship with Miu), you
wouldn't have to change the artwork at all (and it would make the story
a lot more interesting).

Very odd, indeed.

draws her to the effeminate-looking Kotarou.

I feel like it's not just Kotarou but also Miu. Kotarou is more feminine while Miu is pretty handsome and cool esp. in page 2. I enjoyed their reversed personality traits in the story a lot.

That's a good point. With her pixie haircut and soccer uniform,
Miu looks quite tomboyish---especially compared with Kotarou,
who looks unusually feminine.
