Well...that was an emotional one. I'm glad the teacher didn't turn out to be a creep, but it did turn a bit 'forced' on him, because of how not a creep he was. Hopefully everyone involved finds happiness.
Dayum the feels on this one, sometimes the cure for your hurt is in the same house. Hope the mom and daughter find their happiness both with each other and beyond. Fantasy read 10/10!
"I could lend you my room"?
And to think it all started with her dropping a ball of yarn.
I felt a little bad for her at the end, I'm sure the teacher would have stayed if he could, but he had to care for his mother, even if it meant having to leave her behind. But hey, she may say all he left behind was a sweater and scars in her heart, but I think he also left an important lesson for her.
Rather than constantly being on the receiving end, sometimes being on the other side, giving and 'looking' at the other person important to you can be just as joyful. Considering her interaction with her mother at the end, I think she'll be okay even without the teacher she so loved.
