Personally, I started on scfi-fi/military type stuff, though I'm happy to say I moved well away from it on my current solo project. I used to have trouble with my passages being too short when people just talked because I liked having them talk naturally, but now (at least I) don't believe I need gunplay as filler anymore, but more as a supplement.In a nutshell, I've been given favorable critiques on the following genres: Sci-Fi, Military, Political Intrigue, Drama, Social/School Life, and Historical (Not quite fantasy. Swords and the like, but no magic)
So far I think we've got drama and school-life down. We could probably do something with swords also. We'll see what Graceful thinks about this.
When I stay up late, I'm usually playing games or online. I'll most likely be watching something online. (Like yesterday and this morning I stayed up watching the Korean drama, Coffee Prince) But if I play games, I'd be playing Harvest Moon, Harvest Moon Cute, or Pokemon Platinum. Farming and Pokemon are fun. Or sometimes I just read manga updates and listen to music.
