I only Pre-Order games that I know id REALLY want like Battlefield 3 and AceCombat: Assault Horizon but its very rare that games of that promising quality come out!

I like seeing a slightly "dark" story... What I mean by this isnt necessarily a depressing story but one where people fight against some sort of hardship and rise above it through their own strength with honour and pride in their hearts. I dont mind if they dont miraculously live happily ever after in the usual tra la la happy clappy "American" way of looking at things. (Its more satisfying if it feels 'real' to me)
I like to see people in what I would consider a not exactly perfect (Shitty) situation but they still retain that sense of honour and pride in themselves. Perfect example of this is the anime Binbou Shimai Monogatari. These two poor sisters havent got nobody to rely upon and despite being young (15 and 9) they work really hard for each other, You can also see the genuine love they have for one another as family!
You hear so many stories of WHORES in Japan selling themselves for designer clothing or whatever and then you've got these two sisters doing their thing scraping by quite tidily. Yes obviously they'll shed some tears along the way but they also smile and laugh lifes troubles away (They could get disillusioned but they're proper little troopers) and I think to myself "Thats nice". These are the kind of people I like, I mean that 15 year old girl could quite easily lose her pride and prostitute herself and get the money they need no problem FOR FOOD AND RENT ETC but shes just such a tough cookie and a sweet heart. (Makes you wish there are more people like her in this cold dark World)
Maybe I just like to see people do the right thing! (I dont like to see pretensious acts of kindness by an 'elite' though where it aint no thing to help out someone beneath them, I HATE that sense of false charity so much also servitude is another thing I hate) I think the reason I like Binbou Shimai Monogatari and animes 'like' it (E.G. Aishiteruze Baby, Onegai Twins) in particular is that they're at the bottom of the barrel/have serious weaknesses or whatever and know it but still live pure lives.

Sometimes you simply cant get motivated when you're trapped in a cushy civilian lifestyle but ive got a solution. Why not go out running late at night (Early mornings so you dont see any disgusting people) then sign your life away and join the Army as soon as you get to a decent standard of health and fitness I.E You stop doubling over, Panting and wheezing after running 1.5 miles and do it in a respectable time of about 12 mins or so! (Honestly whats the worst that could happen? You're pretty much dead inside anyway...)
You dont even have to think for yourself, Just grit your teeth and agree to WHATEVER your recruiting sergeant says (He'll take care of you) which pretty much guarantees you glory on a frontine somewhere. Welcome to the infantry son!
You'll be 'forced' to work now (I.E. You've gotta do it because you've got nothing else and you actually unbelievably start to enjoy it and love your life) so theres no real bullshit 'pressure' or any need to fake 'motivate' yourself to get off your ass and do some work. (People will now also show you more respect in society even though its a bullshit respect that you dont give a fuck about and if they dont then you can act a bit bolshy about it anyway especially if any lowly civvy dares give you lip service.
