Also, I really like Yaya's character design. The effect of having line work that's lighter than the base color looks good in my opinion. I should try drawing a dark haired character using this style.

Not bad. The love polygon is pretty obvious but the gorgeous scenery makes up for it. The whole underwater aspect of this show still makes it interesting so I'll stick with it for now. Also the conflict between the people who live on land and the people who live in the sea mixes things up a bit.
