EDIT: Uwah, I take back all that I've said. The supernatural element in this story is so prevalent - at the very least, you cannot deny the fact that:

the witch Beatrice exists since, well, Battler literally playing against her on a Game Board >_>. Once again this is a story not meant to be told as a real story, but a mind wash potion meant to turn your philosophy around and admit that in this story at least, the supernatural truly existed.

In that case, anything can happen. Sigh. Kind of not that interested in reading anymore, but I'll do it for the sake of completion. It HAS not been boring after all. Kihihihihihihihihihihihi


EDIT 2: I wonder why the change in the witch Bern. Supposedly that she is an 'evil' witch at the end of Episode 4, but she is still truly:

Well, then again, if there is a one in a quadrillion chance of something that couldn't exist to exist, you can't really call that a miracle. A miracle is called a miracle because the probability of that something is ZERO, but it still happened anyway. As long as there's a will, there's a way.

Witch Bern definitely interests me to the point I don't mind reading Chiru as it is.

Well, you're as good as I was when reading Umineko. I didn't know if I should believe that there really was some supernatural event related to the murders or if I was being somehow trolled lol My decision was to keep reading to find out so you better do the same.

About Bern, I can't answer right know. Maybe when I read the game again I'll be able to. I'm just waiting for the PS3 tweak to be out.

Btw, in the spoiler part you have some higurashi spoilers so it should be better to point out that there's also spoilers for it.

What EP are you reading right now? I totally loved the ??? part of EP5. That just awesomeness in its incarnate state lol

Yes. Though there are fandiscs such as Umineko no Naku Koro ni Hane and Umineko no Naku Koro ni Tsubasa with a few more hints.
But if you want to really know the culprit you have to figure it out for yourself since it isn't directly said who is it.
