And the achievement has been officially retired! The FAKKU Supporter achievement has been added to replace it, all previous FAKKU Books Founders will receive the new achievement over the next few days.
The first chapter is now online! Counting Bosshi's XXX Mix and Hanafuda this is our 13th book, meaning we were able to put out just over a book per month for the past year.
We do not store any credit card information on our servers (and we never will). It is all stored with the processor/bank that does the actual communication with the credit card companies. The most we'll ever do (which we don't currently), is give you an option to save your credit card information so you can use it on future purchases (similar to Steam). Even then we wouldn't store credit card information, we would save an identifier like "Jacob-CC-Visa", send that identifier to the bank along with your order, and they would look it up based on the identifier.
A receipt email would be great.

EDIT: Even FAKKU Rewards Points would be less annoying than sales!This is a neat idea, something we can start looking at doing (J-List does something similar. Maybe we can tie it into the achievement system as well, where achievements can give you points you can later spend on products.

I'm sure Jake would refund you. Besides, the Valentine's Sale was a huge success as far as I could tell since Jake said over 2,000 books were sold in a couple days. I'll admit it's a little different here since it's members only, but I think strategic placement of sales, such as when a new, popular book is about to release, could be very beneficial.This is correct, if you ever buy a book and it immediately goes on sale just email us and we'll refund you the difference. We don't have an official policy on this, but I'll look into getting one written up.

One thing I'm curious about, and it may have been that I didn't notice it, but during the process of subscribing, I didn't actually see the price listed. I know that you mentioned the price in the forums previously, but there wasn't any sort of receipt or anything that listed it when I put in my information. Again, I might have just missed it (and I can't go back to check it now), but in case I didn't, I thought it should be brought up.The price is listed on the page where you select between Credit Card and Bitcoin, I agree though it should be more obvious.
We actually haven't added in the confirmation email once your subscription starts letting you know it went through properly, I'll be adding that in later today.

I encountered a strange error when using the reader. Using iOS mobile, Chrome. After Chrome crashed using the reader, I restored it, hit back, then went to read Meanwhile, Onee-chan was... again and then it was messed up like that. I just went back to the homepage and it was all fixed, but yeah. I also haven't been able to recreate it.Should be fixed now! Was a temporary bug

Well, I'm all for buying individual magazines for download be it as a subscription where you pay monthly or where you buy each magazine individually. So, if that happens, I'll be very excited. But paying to only view the content in my browser really does not interest me. It's exciting that all of this content will be translated, and it looks like it includes some mangaka that I'm very interested in who never seem to get translated (e.g. LINDA), but I'm definitely going to wait for an option where I can pay to download rather than pay to just view the content in my browser. Still, the fact that we're getting that much is a start, and it could lead to actually being able to download the content. So, the fact that this is happening is very positive even if it's really not what I want at the moment.
We have quite a few LINDA chapters that will be launching with the service!
FAKKU Unlimited is a term we are using to describe the bonus features your account is granted while you are an active subscriber. This gives us a chance to add new features to FAKKU that we couldn't normally due to how hard they are to scale with all of the anonymous users on the website. FAKKU Gold features may eventually be added to all accounts.
