I think UPS will try to deliver it three times and then they will contact the shipper to return it.Depends. if it regular ups then yes they will deliver three times before they send it back but usually they keep the package at the hub for a few days for pick up. Some packages are send after the first to an access point location aka the ups store. If they left you a slip you can change the location or redeliver unless they check the final box then they send it back.
All my ups shipments go thru the post office. Amazon is a cheap stake but here usps lose less shipments and they don't leave them on the street. Unless they put on the label to leave it. I need to rent a po box soon.
