I think something wrong here.
Doujin(shi) is fan made or any H manga not funded or made by/from ero magazines. Ero-manga or H-manga are published either in anthology magazines or produce by them in some form. Most doujins are made for events or as a yearly/bi/quad releases. Some are store front but the majority there for comiket/Comic1.
That being said i have seen doujin go from 5 pages to over a hundred, but it was a two tier story and most are the non h versions of doujin.
