Because they don't publish anything with the magazines and Publishers we got deals with. For us to get any of their Works they have to be with the the Publishers that we have licensing deals with. Since we don't have comic penguin stuff he can't get 95% of their stuff.

That's not how dealing with Japan and their licensing works. They don't deal with donations. A few will crowd fund for non guaranteed IPS but they control the rules.

Those doujins are artist property so they dictate the rules. Plus 90% of what we have here aren't fakku's license. Look at the Publisher line in the page. Unless it says fakku it not our stuff. Other publishers use our store and site to sell their stuff because let's face it, we are the biggest site not burning in a dumpster fire of mismanagement and failed communication. 2d market, ENSHODO and many others use the store and site to sell their licenses books.

If you think people will freely give their stuff freely just because a few people just donate a few bucks then that's an idealistic fantasy. I should know I donate regularly to scan sites to kickstart a manga or doujin I want, but there's the difference... they don't pay the artist or Japanese licensing, it's for the translation and maybe some server cost/getting the tank to scan or buy digitally. Fakku has a higher cost and so does the publishers.

Buy or don't buy that your choice, it not like I buy them all even though I'm curious. But I like real paper so that my reason.
