The main problem I see in a lot of Naruto fights is that during the battles there will be a complete conversation between the enemies usually giving one or the other time enough to pull off some trick or get something ready.

Also some characters seems to want to defeat a enemy a certain way no matter what. If Hidan hadn't been so obsessed with that ritual of his he could have just got in close to Shikamaru and fucked his world up.

I don't like how some characters after a family member has died or someone close to them has died they get a instant power up like Goku when Krillan died.

BTW I stopped watching one piece after the croc arc cause it just started to get fucking stupid (not that it ever made sense to begin with).

Even tho you're right Shikamaru losing to Hidan really would have thrown off the "revenge" aspect of that arc. The student's master dieing by the hands of a foe and the student later coming back only to be beaten or killed by the same man. It was bullshit I know but still.

It also comes down to keeping the fans happy. If Shikamaru was defeated and Hidan won something tells me there would be a bigger crowd going "WTF!" then there would be a crowd going "HELL YAH HIDAN'S TEH MAN!" I'm sure the author of Naruto will tell you that he doesn't care about fandom and just wants to tell the story but that would be wrong. It's reasons like Kakashi hasn't been confirmed dead that shows it.

Shikamau losing really wouldn't have made me mad tho. I just don't like the fact that he won because the story had him win. Hidan should have won hands down but that would have messed up the story in the future in some way I guess.

I don't think i'm going to shave off 400kb off of that gif without reducing it's quality. there's 140 images in it and that's a lot to be cutting down. I'm not done yet tho.

If you're referring to Kallen's mecha cause they had an engineer that was experienced in the field of mecha design and mechanics that worked closely with the other engineer that designed the lancelot? Seems pretty plausible to me that she would be able to make a more powerful mecha if by luck or a break through that he hadn't came across or didn't think about.

Also in the end I would say that Britannia had the more powerful weapon.
