Lucky Star is a good anime. Not great or amazing just good. Likeable characters, calming plot and episodes, fucking addictive opening. Just a good all rounder. But if you can't stay focused for more then 10 seconds with explosions and tits and ass in your story then it's definitely not going to appeal to some.

So far we've proven that humans would be the first to show hostile actions. Think also of the people at home. The creature would be shocking enough. Not to mention the possibility that there's more ships out in space. I don't think shooting the creature is the best option simply because of the way it looks. You have to think of this as a real life situation. This may very well happen one day and what steps out may look like that. I want to know how we would hold together after seeing that. Will fear get the better of us? Will we think rationally as york showed? Will we want it for it's technology? If communication is impossible what will we do? What's the best course of action? I know this is alot to consider, but I put it in serious discussion for a reason.

Let's say Central Park in New York.

I thought that might be the reaction too once it's seen. But are we going to fire upon it after it has shown no hostile actions? Keep in mind this is a intelligent life form. Will we act solely upon fear?

This is a situation I have always wondered what would happen. Okay here's the situation. A alien space ship has landed on earth. There is no previous communication with the U.F.O and it entered and landed on earth in a non-hostile manner. No being steps outside the ship for 3 days. The government immediately reacts and proceeds to surround the ship and set up a perimeter. They are careful to do so in a non-hostile manner also. After the 3 days are up and all attempts at communicating with the ship has failed the door lower, a cloud of steam or smoke fills the doorway and a shape of something can be seen. Keep in mind that they are completely unaware of the intentions of the beings are and also the event is being filmed live. Also tho they did set up the perimeter and all in a non-hostile manner, they're military vehicles and personnel on site. As the smoke and or steam clears the being can be seen. This is what steps out.



Now what is the reaction of both the people on site and watching at home?

I use to collect anime. I would buy it, watch it, then store it on my shelf. Then one day I sat back looked at the shelf and thought " that is alot of anime. I wonder how much i've spent?" I added it up and it was $1700ish. I couldn't believe I had spent that amount of money on anime. So I wrapped it all up, packaged it and sold it all for $700. After that I never bought another anime. This was 3 years ago. I decided to only download from that day forward and now I have alot more and it hasn't costed me a dime.

Long story short if the American anime industry closed or went bankrupt tomorrow I wouldn't care.
