People do not know the meaning of Yandere. Loyalty shouldn't even be an option because Yandere is already there. You can't get anymore loyal then a Yandere.
God of war because you don't mess with a guy that has time to kill a giant hydra and then fuck two girls right afterwards.
You should almost always play the game first. The game is usually much more in depth in both plot and character development. The animes that are adapted from VNs are usually very shallow with notable exceptions of course.

[size=14]Utawarerumono (ã†ãŸã‚れるもã®?) is a Japanese adult AVG+SLG (S-RPG) visual novel by Leaf which was released on April 26, 2002 for the PC. A manga version was created in 2005 and was first serialized in Dengeki G's Magazine. An anime adaptation aired between April and September 2006, containing twenty-six episodes. The American rights to the Utawarerumono anime were initially held by ADV Films, who completed a full DVD release of the entire series. In July 2008, Funimation announced that the license to Utawarerumono (and other titles formerly held by ADV) had transferred to them.
Story:
A man wakes up wounded in a small village of animal-people, where he is being nursed back to health by a girl, Eruruu, and her family. However, he cannot remember anything of his past: how he came to be wounded in the forest, his own name, or why or how a mysterious mask came to be attached to his face, unable to be removed. Eruruu's grandmother gives him a name -- Hakuoro -- and he is invited to stay at the village.
In debt to these people, and with nowhere else to go having no memories, Hakuoro stays with the village and helps the people, bringing harvest to their barren fields. However, the land is being brought into war, and the feudal lord hears of these rumors and starts collecting their food as a tax. Hakuoro then finds himself entwined with these people and the uprising of a revolt army, all while wondering just who he really is.
This is probably my favorite game ever. Fate/Stay Night comes in a really close second, but Utawarerumono's story and art is just too beautiful. It also wins points on being a linear story so there are no choices that affect the story. Some people don't like that, but I prefer it because there are no bad ends and no reason to have to replay it over and over. If you're interested in playing the game go to this thread.[/h]
On to a bit of discussion about Utawarerumono.

Is your clicky, drab Cross Media Bar in dire need of a facelift? Is it sagging around the Video tab? Got some unsightly varicose veins in its Network section? You can give your XMB the overhaul it so richly deserves with the recently released Firmware 3.00 System Update, which adds the "What's New" section, a status indicator, a renovated friends list, PlayStation Store shortcuts, and animated backgrounds to your PS3's main menu screen. Check out these features in action in the video posted after the jump.To install Firmware 3.00, just hit the "System Update" icon under the settings menu. To update to Firmware 4.00, you'll either need to acquire some sort of time-traveling apparatus or become the president of Sony R&D. Good luck with that!
I plan on updating to this later on today and I am exited to see exactly what is new first hand. The animated background has me most interested and I am wondering what exactly I can get going on in the background or if I can make my own. Of course it would be a strictly PG-13 background *nudge nudge, wink wink*.
