I think the only way I'd buy a PS3 is if the PS4 isn't backwards-compatible, because by the time I'm willing to spend that much on a game console, the PS4 will already be out.The year 2015 is a long ways away Shaggy.
As for me I only game on my PS3. I won't vote tho cause it says ("Ewwwww") next to it and well my fanboyism just won't allow it. The PS3 has taken a lot of shit from people in the early days and I can't tell you how many times people have said it would never amount to anything or for the matter still be in production as of today. But all of them were wrong as people who say such things usually are.

generally the OS of mac is ok. Actually it is actaully the same quality.Mac OS has a longer history than Windows.
that doesn't mean the quality of the OS is better....
Depends on what you mean by quality. If you consider the compatibility problems of Vista as well as the resource usage along with the sheer amount of BSOD errors that Vista has had compared to OSX, then OSX is much better quality. Also OSX is based on UNIX which gives it the virus protection. That is definitely a handy feature and if you argue that Vista isn't as "well made" as OSX in that it will get viruses if put on the internet without a virus protection software installed. Where as the mac will more then likely never have to worry about such things unless the user is targeted.
I'm not trying to start a OS war or anything, I just see OSX as a better made OS then Vista or W7 for that matter. It has it's draw backs but nothing that you can't work around if you know what you're doing. Also I am not a gamer for PC (Consoles ftw) so the whole no gaming argument holds no water.
I am pretty impressed with Snow Leopard's specs. It seems very good and promising. Definitely making me consider my first laptop as a mac. Since I have been wanting a laptop for a while. The new prices of them also make it tempting.
Here's hoping that W7 will come as a special bargain for Vista users. If so I will upgrade. However I am not willing to pay $400 ($319.99 if you wanna be precise and according to Windows rumor sites for W7 Ultimate) for a whole new OS that imo isn't much better then what Vista is now. At least the price doesn't make it as good in my opinion.
I think it's rather bull that Windows won't offer a special service for windows users on a bargain upgrade to W7 like Mac has for the snow version. W7 is nothing more then another version of Vista after all (at least to me it seems that way, skip the techno babel).

I will probably be getting this just because I didn't upgrade to the last new one. All depends on my current job standing really. There have also been some rather expensive things that I have had to have done lately but I digress.
