LOL, yah I did indeed vote for Gene over Spike. I just don't see how spike would get a chance to win after even one round of the caster is shot. #13 Shell is just a "insta win" move. Even if it does do massive damage to the user (takes away life in some cases killing the user). If Spike could disarm Gene then I would give the advantage to Spike.

Also I see you're calling for reinforcements yourself :P

Yes, Gene is not a Martial arts expert but he more then holds his own on a one on one. I see no reason why he couldn't make some space in between him and Spike at some point.




Since this is a fight and no restrictions have been placed I would assume that all the characters could use all their abilities. Gene could use the Caster and Spike his gun.

It was an example. A rather coincidental reference in my opinion considering I watched that movie yesterday. In the Indiana Jones movie that scene showed that you can be the most impressive guy ever but a gun is still going to out do a martial arts expert everytime as long as we are talking real world physics.

I don't think he attacked it as much as comparing Gene to Spike (which isn't a bad thing). If you want to try and prove a character is better then Spike then of course others will compare the stats and abilities of the character they believe would win to your statements. It's a good reference then making a whole new list of facts on Spike.
