I agree, there is absolutely some kind of legitimate reason behind Mako's erratic behavior, the antagonists goals are very clear (they don't just stand as obstacles), that teacher with the sunglasses had a fair reason to strip naked while talking to Ryuko, busting down doors is common practice in the real world. Oh, and every time an important leader talks to people, a blinding light shines down from behind them to emphasize their brilliance.
I don't feel I need to go on.



I really just don't know what to say to this. Are you sure it was AoT you were watching?
I can't tell if you honestly believe AoT had no plot or if you're just saying that for the sake of argument.
This honestly is not an opinion based statement: AoT obviously has a lot of plot outside of killing Titans, anyone could see it.
I'm not going to sit here and type it all out just to prove you wrong or anything, I don't wanna be here all day.
