@Tranquility and windknight111: no, that's common. My case is that I'm browsing FAKKU! forums, I go back a page and WHAM!, everything's all read. Has nothing to do with logging out, and I'm still logged in, just that everything's been read which isn't true.
I can't believe I missed this thread. Here's my reasons why we like the anime style. (Be prepared for a long wall of text!)
This was taken from a previous forum that I used to hang out until it went under, but it more or less sums up my various likes for anime.
edit: Note, what's in the spoiler are my own words that used to be in another forum... dunno if that went through or not.

I've had a similar but not quite the same problem. Instead of logging me out, it suddenly just marks the entire forum read. Not sure if this can be attributed to this problem or not, but it's something I've encountered.
MP3 - I don't notice too much of a difference in sound quality, but it's not like I'm listening to music every moment of my life either. And I simply don't have the space to hold FLAC albums of several hundred MBs for only 10 or more songs. Like Tegumi mentioned, not everyone is an audiophile.
The concept underlying reputation is that it's something that users can give and take away at their discretion, +rep for good respectful things and -rep for disrespectful things. It implies a heavy psychological effect as humans as a whole tend to seek appreciation, respect, and admiration from others to make up for our insecurities and doubts. Rep has to be earned for it to truly have value. Most people who get +/- repped usually deserve it, and because they deserve it they value it that much more.
I don't doubt for a single moment that people do care about rep. People who truly don't care don't use rep or complain about it. Hell, I care about rep, but not as I used too since I've been here for so long and passed the 50+rep threshold. 3-digit rep is a far off goal that I'll work it off in due time - no sweat.

I asked my friend whom i knew for a while if she would let me tie her up , she said no. I turned around and asked her little sister, she asked me if i was a pervert. I said yes. And I tied her up the next day. So yes, I am very proud =PBondage enthusiast? Awesomeeee. Though I agree with Joe-kun that that part sounded a bit wrong, lol. But hey, lolicon bondage in my book is awwwright.
Though it sounds to me that you kinda skipped a step or so in revealing your bondage fetish to others who are new to the concept. Trust and patience is key.
Is that coming from personal experience? ;)
Nope, just from what I've read online of true bondage experiences. Those are quite enlightening to say the least. (I wish it was true... then man, I'd be getting laid by my tied up wife everyday.)

I will not go into details though. >.>[/color]I perfectly understand that... I just think that there's so much more that goes on in a sister/brother relationship than people think. Knowing that they both have the same hobbies makes it more interesting.
Then again, I'm a single child.
@Haburi-chan: this might sound like a personal question, but how do you handle the fact that your brother jacks off to hentai material like you? And at the same site? I find that... an amusing if not downright ironic situation. (No offense intended but curiosity compels.)
@Waar: It was either yours or Animeholc's. I don't remember specifically which one. I figured I hit the same mark, and your thread was convenient. (not like I got any praise there either, but yea.)
Wow, Jacob's newest entry on rep abusing has ushered forth quite a bit of confessions from lots of people... I swear Jacob has the ability to make us his followers if this keeps up.
@Tsurayu: I'm sure at some point we've all abused the system, but I think it's ok to de-rep someone that you don't like since there's usually a good basis for the de-rep. In fact, a PM from a certain someone surprised me a lot, but I think it was honest for him to confess. Point is, to stop feeling guilty about repping, find a good reason and stick with it. You'll sleep much better.
On a sidenote, I value my rep since it hallmarks my progress as a contributing member of the forums of FAKKU!.

I found it funny that the picture was conveniently cut right above the nipple line.
Like everyone else, that's some hawt shit.

I've already spoken to Jacob about having a feature that allows users to disable reputation entirely. He seems to like the idea and will probably implement it later. You're going to have to explain this one.
And again, to those who think the rep system is pointless, it's not. I find it better to have it than not simply because when someone earns it, they earned it. (In most cases) People who are being dicks and assholes and idiots on the forums will get de-repped. It's an indicator of status (depending on what scale you use because certain users/classes-of-users are excluded) and though there've been abuses, it's still working.
@Whitelion: I'm actually getting what you're talking about, even though I'm not a music major but a music aficionado. You're right about the three pedals because they don't change the pitch, but in a sense it goes towards "modulating" the melody. (Leastwise that's how I took the word "modulate" in its context.) I've played the piano myself, and compared to other instruments, I always had a hard time trying to get damn "feeling" into the song simply because of the way the piano was constructed and particular sound it produces. Simply plunking down keys wasn't enough, partly because the intonation screwed in up certain keys like you mentioned, and partly because I couldn't vary the pitch like I could with the violin.
I see your point in regards to anime and game music. I think that other artists who use the piano specifically make the piano much more than just an accompanying instrument.

I just find that the anime piano music I encounter doesn't utilize this aspect of the piano. It is generally treated like any other melodic instrument except that it has the ability to play chords and accompany itself. It's not really a matter of skill of the players, but rather the music. Nor am I saying that it is a terrible instrument, simply why it is not my favorite.I see your point in regards to anime and game music. @neko-chan: technically the last time I upgraded and hijacked a thead was when I got 3000 posts because someone else created a thread for the same thing. shrugs* I see no real purpose to these types of threads, but I least I do it in an noninvasive way.

This is getting ridiculous for users of FAKKU! to not know what reputation is. Read the FAQs people.

WHY THE FUCK WAS THIS THREAD MOVED TO IB WHEN THE EXACT SAME OTHER THREAD GETS TO STAY IN RANDOM?I don't know about your thread, but the other music thread was moved over to the music forum and the one about the instruments as well because I reported them. I missed this one, but I'm not willing to report it simply because it was set up badly.
