Yeah I saw that thread some days ago. It was actually a really pleasant surprise. I know there are some kind and generous souls here, but given the size of this thread, it's somewhat difficult to have faith in the whole populace.

Western does indeed mean doujinshi and content created by Western artists, instead of the typical Japanese ones on the site. Given Fakku's current direction though, it's up to the artist to talk to the site admins themselves and see if they can host stuff here or not.
