Can't see anything else too special about it, other than what the OP described. The tank itself has other stories by the author as well, namely Love Haunt, Nekomimi Pandemic, I am Not a Child, and Adult Kiss (and a bonus short of Paradise).
EDIT: Scratch that, found a one-shot sequel called Kemomimi Hayaoki Daisakusen. Again, however, nothing really remarkable, so I say download it, if you were worried about too much drama.

I actually like the spicing up, thank you very much... keeping too accurate is what caused shows like Power Rangers Samurai to bomb, because there are several things in the language and context that wouldn't make sense to outsiders/Westerners.
