Not sure if I'd classify it as your typical slice of life, but there's a certain set of anime that kinda feels like slice of life but are meant to be more chill and calm.
Of these, I'd recommend Mushishi. It's one of my favourites ever in this kind of genre. Granted, Non Non Biyori is also like this, but given that you liked Higurashi, you might enjoy some of the spookier tales of Mushishi.

Well looks like you guys don't need any other reminder that it's basically pointless to waste resources on resetting the structures unless you're desperately hungry for prisms.
That being said... I'm at the 10th structure right now, and the second part is gonna start MUCH later. So... I think I'll look at the list later on and actually tailor make my island to make it really special to me. XD
