Try playing it on the hardest difficulty. Not only is it frankly hard as HELL, it's way more fun. Nothing more fun then fighting a boss that an 1 combo KO you.
If you try to lame out Ryu with fireballs, he'll do his Ultra, and it'll knock out a full 90% of your health.
It feels like, to really get the most out of the game's short gameplay amount, you need to crank the difficulty up to at least hard.
