I don't think the anime/video sections had a moderator whose focus was entirely those two forums.
If you try to bring them back, having some would be a good idea methinks, though I always felt that the users of the video section were pretty good at self-moderating.
Admittedly I was wondering how the video section had a 'do not upload' list but the anime section didn't.
It really was only a matter of time before something like this happened.
Here's to a quick recovery.

Oh man..Momoka..WHO DID THAT TO YOU?
Not quite how I wanted to make elite, but...meh. I honestly can said I posted less than 10% of 150, but there really isn't a better feasible solution.

My subscription just ran out, and I probably won't play for awhile.
Had a Caldari Navy Scorpion, which is more or less the battleship version of the drake.
Also have a manticore, drake, crow, and working on Tengu.

A list of fallacies. Nice.
Pleased to say I knew most of them, but did learn about some others.
Think circular reasoning should be included. It looks stupid in its most basic form, but compound circular reasoning is somewhat subtle and used somewhat often.
Two wrongs do make a right (in math).

G/S/C for me. Never played past emerald, and didn't like Gen III because it tried too hard and moved so slowly. Playing it on emulator was infinitely better than on my GBA SP because of spacebar.
C had battle tower, which is a clever thing to try for the most hardcore players. Multiple generations of breeding, praying you get perfect IVs, fighting one in ten wild monsters because you're going for perfect EVs...etc.
Had to do all that to be their level 10 machop on steriods that knew cross chop. Sheesh.
And you could get 16 badges in those. And fight Red, who is infinitely more man than that idiot Ketchum could ever be.

I've had a philosophy class where an animal right's activist was once a guest speaker. I've also studied Peter Singer and wrote one of two term papers on the topic...so here are my two cents.
Slaughterhouses exist because they are the cheapest way to turn animals into food. If not for slaughterhouses, meat would be, as Singer said, "a prerogative of the rich." (Only the rich could afford to eat meat)
It's widely believed that humans are omnivores. However, this speaker that I listened to claimed that humans were herbivores. His logic was that our incisors' were to bite down on hard fruits, and that humans do not have a carnivore's instincts. For example, if you look at a squirrel, could you hunt it down and eat its raw flesh? Would you want to?
I doubt the herbivore argument because even the earliest of humans were shown to hunt mammoths for food.
Here is the hardest part. To justify eating meat, which justifies the existence of slaughterhouses, one must condone cruelty to animals. This however, is done all the time. Lab rat testing is commonplace, and that is most definitely an act of cruelty. The arguments that justify animal testing would justify an orphaned human baby to be submitted for lab rat testing (Singer), and one would be crucified for doing that.
In the end, humans are cruel to animals. It's how we justify the many things we do to them, which includes eating their flesh.

Should have patented the wagon. You'd be rich.
For the sake of the thread (and I am interested in the answer)..
Excluding friends, family, coworkers, ANYONE you have a personal relationship with, if you had to save ONE person in the world, who would it be. As an example, I'd have to save Shigeru Miyamoto, the wizard behind Nintendo.

--If I could ask you any question you wanted, what would you want me to ask?
--You just paid rent for the month. You're short on funds, so you have to decide which bills you are going to pay. The bills are worth such that you can't pay more than two of them, though any combination will work. Which two do you pay? Choices are: Gas/Water/Sanitation (usually a lump sum), electricity, internet, television, phone, Hustler, and car insurance.
-- When both are fully extended, is your index finger longer or is your ring finger longer?
I''m not a huge shoujo fan myself, though Misaki grew on me. My favorite shoujo manga is "Faster Than a Kiss", especially that short story at the end of volume 1, "Tsuki to Himawari". Have you read that, and if so, enjoy it?
